I am driving all by myself just like I did last November. It's really not too bad. It's about 1300 miles. I get to listen to the music I want to, I get to make as many potty stops as I want, and I don't fight with myself about stopping and asking for directions. http://www.wdwinfo.com/sites/family/hapfac01.gif

I seriously toyed with driving but am flying Delta nonstop direct.. From the Boston area to Orlando is just such a long drive.. I would do it if I had all the time in the world to get there.. I would just drive and take my time, but that is not case.. so I am flying..

Nope. I enjoy road trips, but from Mass to New Jersey is about all I can handle. I will enjoy getting to Orlando in just over 3 hrs! :D

I think we'll be driving this time. It takes us about 13 hours from Virginia. I would prefer to fly, but we're trying to save some money. We also carry a lot of trading pins, and I don't want to hassle with going through the security checks. Of course, it's not too late to change our minds!

I am driving from Ft. Myers to Orlando, which is about a 3 1/2 to 4 hour drive, depending on how many sodas I drink and how many pit stops I make. :)

Thanks to everyone who responded. Barry, that's just not fair. I have to severely limit the sodas or I would be stopping so much that I would be straggling in near the middle of the farewell Continental Breakfast. ;)

I've driven twice with the kids (DH stayed home), but I wouldn't want to drive that far alone - especially if I can get a good airfare. My family of 5 is flying in November, using frequent-flier miles. My DH does NOT want to spend 4 days on the road.

We drive down from Ohio every year. When I suggested that I could save a couple of bucks by driving to DIScon instead of flying, my DW told me that I was crazy and that I should spend the extra money to fly. I think that she knows that if I were to drive, I might be tempted to stay for a few extra days. I'm already bummed that I'm leaving for home 2 days before the big celebration of Walt's 100th birthday.

I will be driving by way of Delaware to pick up my sis and then down to NC to visit with my son before finding my way into Florida and on to my home away from home. My husband and friend who will be joining us down at WDW and for DIS CON will be flying in. Can't wait to meet all of you - it won't be long now!
