DDP and paying cash for room

We might want to add on to our Feb reservations either by paying cash at BCV or by staying at Pop Century or one of the other hotels on the property. Can we add the DDP for the nights we pay cash for a room or do we have to purchase a disney hotel package. We have AP's.

In order to get the dining plan from DVC you have to stay at a DVC resort on points.

To get the DDP from Disney you have to pay rack rate for the room, no discounts, and book a package which must include at least a one day ticket for each person on the plan.

I believe that the dining plan is available for cash reservations made thru MS - with or without the member discount. This would only be at DVC resorts.

If you are adding cash nights to a point reservation the dining plan would include all nights linked together.

At this time, I don't think the dining plan may be added to DVC stays made for 2007- but that will likely change in the near future as the program costs are released and DVC's involvment in the program is renegotiated.

Before our waitlist came through we had cash nights at VWL & were able to get the DVC dining plan.... :sunny:
