What career is everybody interested in?

Well, I already applied to colleges and I didn't want to leave a major undecided. I decided to put down mathematics. All I know is that I'm going to choose a career in either math, computers, or both!

Plastic Surgeon!! I really don't want to do cosmetic surgery, just like people who come into the er and need stiches, or immediate surgery. Or maybe those people from third world countries that need surgery b/c the have two noses or something.

Well what would you like me to call them? They are hispanics, they come from Hispanic countries. I consider myself Irish, I live in an Irish area, and I'm proud to be Irish, and they're very proud to be Hispanic, as I grew up in a very Hispanic neighborhood, and they were very proud of their heritage and refered to themselves as Hispanic.

That's what I hate about Ethics. You always have to be politically correct. For black people, you have to call them African-American, even if the last four generations of their family were born in America. Or they might be from Jamaica. My great- grandfather was from Ireland, and I'm still considered American. But this has nothing to do with the topic of the post, so why don't we all just leave it alone, ok?

Katie, I never saw the ER episode! (but I usually never watch ER :D ) I hate people who do their high paying job just for the money. Does money make you really happy?

I've wanted to be an cartoonist for disney since i was like 3. Its a MAJOR goal of mine. If that dosen't work i wanna be a lawyer or a dentst (lawyer because i love to debate and argue with people and dentist because i like to pick at my teeth..):D :D :D

I really wanna be a doctor....either a neonatologist, an orthopedic surgeon, or a nurse specializing in one of those areas. Or an actress too! But i might go and get certified as a nurse or something, and then try out acting and see how it goes!!

I have no clue what I want to be! I keep changing my mind!:rolleyes: When i was little I wanted to be a ballerina but I've never taken ballet so I'm guessing that won't happen. Then I wanted to be an author, but now I don't want to. Then I wanted to be a photographer, but I kinda lost interest in that. Then I wanted to be a fashion or interior designer but I'm not good enough w/ art. And I've always wanted to be a teacher or a singer... teacher is a possibility I guess but I'm thinking singer isn't gonna happen.:D So basically, I seriously have no idea what career I want. Lately I've been thinking maybe a lawyer cuz that looks fun (I think I got that idea from Legally Blonde:rolleyes: ) but I'm reeeally shy so I don't know if I'd be good at that. So I'm thinking maybe something in music... like maybe an elementary school music teacher or something.

I hate that on the PSAT and the PLAN and stuff they want you to put what career you want and what your major is gonna be. I mean, I'm only a freshman! Do I really have to decide that yet?!

i guess i am really intrested in two things. i would love to be a radio or television brodcaster. But i am also very intrested in the way law works. and this whole ethics thing. why are you talking about. that shoudn't bother anybody.

To all those "future doctors": Definitely volunteer at a hospital if you can! I did that over the summer and it was SO much fun! I worked in Maternity and Nursery and got to wheel the new mothers around and take the little infants around to their moms! I also got to go to the NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) a couple times! I'm going to do it again in December and can't wait! :)

I would love to work in the travel/tourism business, such as holding a management job at a theme park, hotel, etc, or to work in the music business as a manager or agent. I have not decided what I want to major undergrad (most likely either management or marketing), but I know I want to attend grad school to get my MBA. :)

For school we have to do community service, so I wanted to work at the local hospital. All we did was look in the phonebook and called the hospital. Just say that you want to do some kind of volunteer work.
