Hi, has anyone eaten at the HOB? What was it like? Do you have to do a ADR?? We love DTD, and now the kids are older, think HOB looks a great place to try?

I've done the Gospel Brunch and a lunch and both were excellent. Haven't tried an evening as I thought it would be a bit loud for our tastes.

Thanks for that. Did you have to book in advance?

We ate there in April. There were four of us. The gumbo was very good. For my meal I got Voodoo shrimp which was shrimp in a creamy slightly sweet sauce having a taste of alcohol and with delicious cornbread. It was yummy. One person got the steak salad "pretty good. One person got the jambalaya which was a huge portion and we all thought it was delicious. We just walked up and we had to wait for a little while at the bar but the music was playing so it was fine. WE loved it there. Nancy
we ate here 2 years ago

We both love the House of Blues - the food is great and the atmosphere chilled. We have walked in, but it may be worth booking if you will be going at a busier time as I have known the waits to be very long. Their Key Lime Pie is the best dessert in the world IMHO! We have to share though as the portions are huge!

We booked for brunch but walked in for lunch.
I'll agree portions were large!

Thanks everyone, for your comments.
Can't wait to try it! Those dishes sound delicious!!
Think we'll take our chance not to book in advance, as we visit DTD quite a lot. Thanks again.

We ate there for dinner and were slightly disappointed as we'd somehow got hold of the wrong end of the stick and thought the entertainment and the restaurant were in a combined venue. I didn't realise the music venue was completely separate
We thought the food was good (similiar to somewhere like the Hard Rock Cafe) and we booked in advance - when we arrived there was a wait of around an hour for those who hadn't booked.

It's a fantastic place to eat, relax and take in some music.
They also have live bands in the resturant as well as the seperate concert venue next door.

Nevre ate hear however, had a few drinks there. Nice setup outside however the service was pretty poor, barman, was terrible and for a Disney restaurant & bar was shocking....
However that was only the bar outside, I am sure the restaurant will be good to eat at!! :thumbsup2
