Question about Mickey Head Canada pin

Hello! We're just back from our vacation at WDW -- and had a blast trading! We just had one question about a specific pin for you experts! :)

My son traded for a Mickey Canada pin that looks older. I was wondering if anyone knew anything about it. It is not the Canada one that's out right now that looks like they cut a Mickey Head out of the Canadian flag. This one is a much smaller Mickey Head -- the ears are both red and the "face" is white with the Red Maple leaf in the middle. It doesn't say anything specific on the back other than copyright Disney.

We just collect pins because we like certain ones -- not for value or anything. We just like to look at them -- brings back great memories! This time my DS (6) collected the 2004 USA Olympic Logo pins -- just because DH and I had bought him one on our trip to DL in 2004 the week the Olympics were held. We bought him Stitch originally and he traded for 5 more this trip. Only 5 more to complete the collection! :)

Wow -- I would have thought it was older -- it doesn't look like most of the pins do today. Maybe that's because it's from the store, not the parks.
