All my DD wants is a Heffalump from WDW - not the Disney Store

I can't believe our trip is almost here...it seems I have been planning forever!

My kids are getting excited, all my DD5 can talk about is getting a stuffed Heffalump at WDW. I promised her we will buy one when we find one.

Of course I am now nervous...

Anyone who has been to WDW recently have you seen any stuffed Heffalumps (purple preferably) and where? I know things go out of stock, but I figured if people from DIS told me where to look, I would have a better chance of finding one easy.

If you don't want to wait to get to Disney or want to save a liitle money, try looking at a Disney Store. I think I saw a Heffalump at ours.

When you exit the Pooh ride in Fantasyland, you have to go through the gift shop. When we were there last May, there were stuffed heffalumps AND woozles as far as the eye could see. My then 2.5 year old fell in love with a blue woozle, her favorite souvenir of our trip.

The gift shop fronts on the main drag of Fantasyland, so it's not like you have to wait to ride the ride in order to shop in there.

I would also recommend going and getting one for her at the Disney Store. You could always have it waiting on her bed for her as a special gift!

I got my DS Lumpy for his Easter basket from the Disney Store. They have two size versions - a small 6-8in one and a bigger 10-12in one. I have the bigger one and it's great. We also got Roo for my other DS. Might be fun to get one at the Disney Store and it can be waiting on the bed the first morning there or the day you leave or something.

Thanks for the info...we know there is a Lumpy at the Disney Store...but she wants one from WDW to remember our special trip. She received birthday Disney $$ and said immediately that is what she wanted to spend it on, and be the big girl and "buy" it herself.

I just thought if I asked if someone saw one I could avoid the "look". We have agreed that if for some reason we can't find them in WDW I would take her when we got home to the Disney store and she would get one here.

Which leads me to my next question - did anyone see them at the World of Disney store in DTD?

We just got back today and I remember seeing them in the gift shop as we got off the Pooh ride. HTH!
