I have all of our choices below. Looks like we have some new additions!!! We can mix and match with anything. I have included the base price. Approximate printing costs will be $8.00 per shirt (including screen setup charges and shipping from printer), depending on number ordered. Then there is shipping (priority mail, depends on size and number of items, starting at $4.30, with delivery confirmation) and a possible PayPal charge (less than $1). I will let you know final cost once I have all orders in.

We are planning to all wear lime green again, as it stood out so well last year.

I love the shirt design. Thank you to everyone that worked to make these the best looking Team Shirts. :thumbsup2 Thank you to Sunny & Dave for all the work you put into making everyone's ideas into a real design and Carrie for taking on the huge job of the orders. :thanks: I will definately being ordering a few. :teeth:

Is it ok to order a shirt for my ds who is doing the WDW Half with me, even though he is not on the dis? And also order shirts for DH(John - Space Ranger here on the dis) who will not be doing the WDW Half in 2007 but is planning on doing it in 2008?

I'll chime in and say absolutely anyone who wants a shirt can have one. Don't forget your "Scream Team" they may want to wear them on race days, too.

Karen- You can buy as many as you want for whomever you want. Our families support us and are definitely part of the team, even if they do not run the races with us. Your DH should wear his shirt when he cheers on everyone during the race, that way we will all recognize him as part of the WISH team and be motivated by that.

D'oh! I haven't place my order yet, but I would have totally forgot to buy Dx a shirt. That would have been awful. Thanks for the reminder.

OK, one question...which one are you guys who are doing the half or full ordering??? I have never been to WDW in January, and have no idea what the weather is like??? TIA

wtpclc
05-30-2006, 03:54 PM
I had sleeveless and long sleeve for the full last year. It was unseasonably cold for the start of both races (32 to 34). It was mid 60s by the time the full finished, though. I was down to the sleeveless by mile 9, but I had been training in 20 degree weather with high wind and snow.

For the half last January I wore a heavy long sleeved wicking shirt with a short sleeve WISH shirt over that. Then I had a light weight hooded/zippered sweat jacket, and over that I wore a heavy "throw away" hooded sweatshirt. Did I mention that it was cold?? Of course, I am a walker, so I don't quite expend the energy runners do. And for the half you are done by 9:30AM.

To answer a few questions:

Color? The color is to be lime green again this year. I swear I wrote that already, but it must have gotten lost in cyber space, so I added it to the main post. Theoretically, you can get toher colors, but you would not match the rest of us. Plus it is a safety supply place supplying them. So, teh lime is darn near as bright as you can get. (makes it much easier to pick out teammates!

Will we do another order? There is a minimum order of 24 needed. I woudl imagine we would be able to meet that with newcomers. However, the fall order was a little harder fo rme with the holiday rush. So, I amy not be able to do the ordering. I woudl gladly assist anyone else, though.

Are others ordering shirts for their family (scream team)? I would need 5 shirts then and wondering if I am being odd or if it is common for the sideliners to wear the shirts also? My in-laws are coming and would want one along with my DH.

Let me know if I am crazy for that many shirts or if this should just be about me!!

OK, here is another one of Michelle's stupid questions...I plan on being about 135-145lbs by the marathon...what sizze do you think I should order...anyone at that weight now with a medium build??? I think I want the short sleeve shirt I am going to put it over under armour...I think... :confused3

wtpclc
06-06-2006, 10:06 PM
OK, I'm gonna lay it on teh line. I'm 5'8"and was about 165 - 168 at marathon time. If I wanted to layer, I would go with a large. The medium was a little snug. You can check out my shape and how teh medium fit in my marathon report. The link's in my sig. HTH! If it didn't, I've just exposed myself for nothing. ;)

michelle -- how tall are you? long waisted? your goal is my goal, at that weight I wear mostly small and occasionally a medium. i would probably plan on a small unless folks here tell me the shirts run small for the sizing. i don't like baggy bunchy workout clothes

Got everyone except Cam. Can you resend Cam?

As for payment,

This weekend, I will calculate the final costs, as dividing up the screen set-up fees depends on how many shirts are ordered. We did just get a price break on te per shirt printing fees too, as we are over 50 shirts.

So, this weekend, or very early next week, I will send an e-mails with final costs and PayPal info.

In general, can you tell what type most people prefer? I usually just walk/run in some ol' beatup tshirt but now that I'm getting SERIOUS about all of this, I need to enhance my workout gear. :teeth:

Sorry, computer time this weekend was a bust. If you're doing DL, I'd go sleeveles or T. Pretty much spilt on those. If you're doing WDW many people add long sleeve to the mix. 90% of the peole order cool max fo rthemselves and cotton/poly only for the scream team.

Seeing as orders total over $1500, I need to collect before I place the order, so that I don't get stuck with a lot of shirts. It's gonna' be a bit. I'll pace teh order, hopefully next Saturday, provided I get payments by Friday. Then, it will be 4 to 6 weeks before they arrive at my house. Then, unless somethign catestrophic happens, I'll have them out withing a week.

Do you think you'll do another order for those of us that missed out?
At this point, I have no idea! At the very least, I woudl assist someone else. You need to have at least 24 shirts to do an order, though.

Do you remember what the cost worked out to be?

wtpclc
08-22-2006, 11:56 AM
The base costs are listed up top. The other costs will still vary.

There will be shipping from printer to coordinator, which will be divided by number of people ordering. PLus shipping from coordinator to WISHers. Starts at $3.86

Printing, depends on # of people, but will range from $1.25 to $2.50 per side. So, $2.50 to $5.00 per shirt. Probably closer to $5 this time

Pay Pal is ~ $0.30 - 2.9% of total.

I think that is it. Let em know if there is a blank up top that I did not answer.

I'm trying to see if re-ordering the WISH team shirts would be possible/practical. If you think you might be interested in ordering a WISH team shirt, can you please post here:

WISH Team Shirt Re-order Interest? thread (http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?p=14259752#post14259752)

For you folks who already have your shirts... Can you please post to this thread whether you found the sizes "true," or running large, or small? I've had a couple of folks ask, but sadly, since the primary reason I'm motivated to handle the re-order is so I can get some of these spectacular shirts for myself, I have no idea about shirt sizing.

Wendy, I'll give you my input. I ordered the XL and found it to be on the large side. I'm still wearing it next Sunday, though! Course, I didn't pay attention to the inches with the sizes that Carrie so kindly provided for us!! So, measure yourself first, then look at the size chart would be my suggestion!! :rotfl2: Anne

I hadn't even noticed those -- Good advice! I'll add them to the other thread as well. THANKS! :thumbsup2
