Good morning, everyone! :sunny:
I'm hoping my Wednesday won't be too wacky, but you never know! I work today--more time to fight with the computer! Then, I need to get some stuff done around the house and hopefully have time to work on some swap stuff!
I hope everyone has a terrific day!
kaylajr--good luck surviving the DARE graduation! That "making nice" thing can be difficult sometimes! ;)

Good morning, everyone!
Just work today, but I have Friday off, so that means I am almost done. :Pinkbounc
Kayla, I feel for you, DS went to middle school last year...I took it much harder than him. :rotfl: I will say this, our conversations, which I am glad still happen, are much less often and much more serious. He actually brought up the "s" word with me the other day. I know I am not ready for puberty!
Have a great day, all!

Just work for me this morning. Than it is beginning to pack for our vacation to KY/TN next week. We will be visiting my in-laws, so "kaylajr", I feel your pain, but I have to endure it for 17 days. Yep!!!! Thanks DH.
Anyway, DD's bridge to Brownies yesterday afternoon was so cute. I cried, so did her troop leader because she was the only daisy to bridge yesterday, all the other girls were a bit upset, but they got to have a "practice run". It was all really nice.
Hope everyone has a magical day

I'm still painting these !@#$%^&* boxes for DS's 8th grade Social. They would be done already if my life would stop getting in the way! The "surprise" has been ruined by some mother with a big mouth who told what the theme is...sheesh...now all the kids are teasing us that they know what it is. Anyway, I'll be finishing them today (tomorrow for sure, I'm sick of them in my garage).
I can relate about the kids growing up... Our oldest just graduated from college, at age 23 (he was on the 5 yr plan), middle DS17 (18 next week) is graduating from High School on June 4, and my baby DS14 is graduating from 8th grade June 6. Talk about feeling my age right now!
My biggest problem is the apron string thing...Our oldest is my stepson, so I wasn't all that involved in his day to day life, as he has been living with his mother. This is soon to change though, as I think he is moving in with us soon...just not sure the actual date. So, now my DS17 is so grown-up. And I'm just not sure if I am being too permissive or too strict with him...And then there is DS14 who is the social one, always has been. I can't believe that at his age I have girls calling the house, his cell, IM's, emails...the love triangles, intrigue, it amazes me daily...and helpful DH keeps saying "Get used to it, this is just the beginning"...sigh....
