There is an entire forum at the DIS for offsite hotels, motels and resorts. Just scroll further down the list and you will find it under "Orlando Hotels and Attractions". I'm sorry I don't know how to move this.

They are just two sections of the same larger resort. The differences in the rooms are quite minimal. Here are the room floorplans & resort site map (http://cypresspointe2.com/floorplans.html) and the amenities in each section (http://www.cypresspointe.net/phase.html) (guests may use both sections) along with links to photos.
It's a nice place to stay - enjoy! :sunny:

Basically the Grandvillas are newer and have elevators in the buildings where the other side doesnt. Also the other side has recently had all their units gutted and redone where the Grandvillas hasnt had anything like that..

We stayed at Cypress Pointe this spring and some people from the Grand Villa's said Cypress Pointe was nicer because they had been completely refurbished recently so had new furniture and what not...but I think the Grand Villa's are still nice too but honestly I didn't see inside them just going on hearsay from another guest at a Villa. Its a great resort I'm sure either place would be good, if it were me I'd go with whatever is cheaper. :teeth:

We were at Cypress Point Resort early this month. They are remodeled, and very nice! We had a room close to the main pool on the resort side, but across the street from the Grand Villas. It was a great location, we could easily walk to any pool. The Villas look nice too, but I can only say the resort rooms were clean, spacious and large (2bdrm). I didn't see inside the villas.
