Schools OUT Well almost.......

and others (like us) have about 1 month left

which leads me to my question

what are your summer plans????????????


We don't really have any "offical" plans

work around the yard

go to the lake

save our pennies for our DEC WDW trip

so what is in your summer to do list?????

School is out for us on Friday! :cool1: I have to work summer school, but I work the first 2 days of it (next Tues. & Wed.), then we leave for WDW for 9 days. Then I come back and work 10 more days--not too bad of a deal! :cheer2:

Our trip is our big summer plan! I am so excited! :cheer2: After that, I plan to catch up on my scrapbooking, and we are going to re-do my bathroom. I'm actually really excited about both of those, too! :thumbsup2

I am so jealous! We have 21 more school days up here (not that I'm counting ;) ) And that's with only three snow days this year. I feel like I'm going to be teaching to eternity this year.

For the summer, lots and lots and lots of gardening. I'm really trying to get the jungle in the middle of my yard back into control. My other big goal is to avoid getting lyme disease (twice) this year.

We are out of school on FRIDAY!! YEAH!!!
No summer school here... they don't offer it much except for the kids that need the extra help to pass our state testing in September.. but I do work with my kids in the summer just to keep them on track..

No big vacation this year.. We are saving that for next July at the WORLD!
We'll probably go to Indiana Beach and Holiday World for weekend trips but nothing major..

We'll do the reading program at the library.
The kids are in sports camps and they do the park program in the mornings during the summer..
The one major accomplishment we have to do in July is get DD's 4-H projects finished for the fair in late July! Yeah!!

We don't get out until June 20th.

June 29-July 2 we'll be in Maryland for the big Eastern Mini car meet.
July 6-7 DS9 10th b'day and POTC2 opening!!!!!pirate:
July 14-16 is the Disney Fan Meet in Allentown Pa
July 27-29 CKC Valley Forge

August we are hoping to squeeze in a quick trip to WDW with the kids and then
August 25-27 SDV scrap at WDW with DH :banana:

Then back to school on Aug 30th.

That's going to be a whirlwind summer!

The kids get out of school this Friday - actually my DD finishes up on Thursday morning. We head to WDW on June 1, coming back on the 9th. We are thinking about taking a mini beach trip toward the first of August, just before school starts back, but other than WDW, no really big summer plans.

No Disney for the rest of the year for us. So we are going to go to CT for 3 days in June and NH for 3 days in August.

Well technically we don't get out of school until June 16th. DD,6 is in Kindergarten. But DH's family is in KY/TN and we haven't seen them in 3 years. There are a bunch of family things planned down there so we are taking DD out of school On June 1st and heading down south until June 17th. I know how horrible of us, but we discussed it with the principal and the teacher and she has been way ahead of the rest of the kids since the beginning of this last quarter and could have actually moved ahead than, so we came to the decision that taking her out woudln't harm her schooling at all.

When we get home on the 18th we are getting our new puppy. She is a buff/white cocker spaniel. So we will have a summer full of fun with her. Than of course school shopping and back to school.

In December we are going back to WDW from Dec 1 to Dec 10. This time we are taking "Neenaw" instaed of DH. "Neenaw" is what my daughter calls my mom. So it will be the "3 girls doing the World the way it should be done". Hey, maybe I'll even get the nerves to do a trip report when we get back. Crazier things have happened. Than maybe the TF will like me and find something I say interesting enough to tag me. A girl can dream right!!!!!
