Okay guys I need major Prayers and PD here
You all know how Jess has had this never ending ear pain
so Yesterday we go back to the Dr
the infection has cleared but it seems that that was masking an underlying issue
causing the ear pain She may have TMJ which while it can be painful( i have it ) is not a HUGE deal ( in comparison to what it could be)
HOWEVER>>>>>>>>>>>>
( and remind me to have patience) as we are sitting there Jess says I should probably tell her about my left side
WHAT ?!?!?!?! i say
well it has been really numb and weak for a few days and i jsut feel like my arm isn't really there and my leg doesn't always work right
She has also been getting Left side headaches( those I knew about she is prone to migraines)
so the Dr put her thru a whole bunch of stuff like touch your nose than my finger and walk on your heals
and strengh tests ETC.....
If she is still having issues in 1 week we need to look at some "real" tests to find out what is going on
It never ends with kids
so please send her PD that it is nothing serious

Oh, Kayla - all my prayers and all the pixie dust in the world coming your way. It is so hard when its your child. I would rather be a million times sicker than my kids, if I could just keep them from being ill.
Hopefully, this is just ears, sinuses, etc. I have TMJ, am in the midst of a sinus infection, and have carpal tunnel. On Monday, everything flared at once, my arm got tingly, my jaw went numb, and I felt disconnected. I wound up in the emergency room having an EKG run (BTW, if you ever want to cut through the er line, tell them your left jaw hurts - ;) ). Anyway, everything was fine. The doctor told me I seemed perfectly healthy, it was just all the little problems converged. We will just pray your DD's problem is just as easily resolved!

Sorry you had to go thru that
but it give me a little relief cause
she has TMJ ( at least they think so)
and may have a sinus thing going on
so maybe that could be causeing the arm thing and thatis the way she describes the feeling just sort of disconnected

It's so hard when it's your kids, isn't it? Both of you take care and I wish you lots of pixie dust.

I hoped that would help. Believe me, I hadn't told ANYONE - honestly I felt pretty silly sitting in a room in the ER with nothing wrong with me. But the only way to know was to go in.
