Missed CSI Finale - what happened????

I am so upset.....I taped the Will & Grace pre-finale show from 8 - 9 and then stopped the VCR but forgot to turn the VCR off so my programming didn't work to tape the finale of CSI....

Can anyone tell me what happened??????

Brass almost dies, his daughter comes back because Grissom ( Who has power of attorney) calls her to let her know her Dad might die. Ellie starts looking into his pention. Brass has surgery, once again almost dies. Then opens his eyes. Ellie leaves because he is alive one would assume. Everyone is happy he is alive. Oh The last scene.. Grissom is sitting on a bed saying if he was going to die he would want to know, be able to be around the ones he loves ect. You see a womans legs walking towards him and she is in a robe, my guess in her apartment/house. ITS SARA!

They also found time to investigate 2 murders:
1) guy found on the train tracks, decapitated. He has a 19 inch waist. Turns out he's a civil war re-enactor loon who's been wearing a corset for years. Tried to murder another re-enactor in a "duel" he took seriously. His manservant struggled for the gun, loon was fatally shot, manservant dumped him on the tracks to try to recreate the "honorable" death of loon's ancestor.

2)guy found in a room with paraphernalia for partying 6 ways to Sunday.
Turns out his family doesn't live much past 40 - heart disease and diabetes, so, when he turned 40 and was diagnosed pre-diabetic, decided to go out with a "bang" and partied himself to death.
