 Our trip is almost here!

We are going to buy the single-park IOA ticket for five consecutive days of admission -- the plan is to visit IOA all day on Monday, then probably hit the park again on Wednesday if necessary, and finally visit again first thing Friday to ride Dueling Dragons. Monday and Wednesday hours are 9a-7p, and Friday is 9a-8p.

Does that sound like a solid plan? Will DD be open when the park opens on Friday?

I am SO excited to be visiting a new (to me) park!!

I have been there enough times that I get a park hopper between the two parks, doing US in the morning and IOA in the afternoon. This was before they phased out the free fastpasses. They have an unadvertised deal for around $110 that is three days both parks no expiration. But it does sound like you have the pass that works for you. Without the free fastpasses make sure you hit the big Marvel rides first.

I seem to remember hearing that Dueling Dragons is shut down for month long maintenance. I just looked at the website and it says the ride is shut down until June 4th. You might want to call them to verify this is still true.

The Enchanted Oak Tavern in the Lost Continent is my favorite place to eat. They have smoked ribs, chicken, turkey, roasted corn, etc. The inside looks like it belongs on the set of LOTR.

Please feel free to ask any questions you might have of the park. Have fun there!! :thumbsup2
