Christmas AP rates

Hi folks

Just wanted to check....have their historically ever been AP rates offered over the Christmas period from Christmas Day through New Year?

I think I know the answer but thought I'd check! :rotfl2:

Last year the BRP was in effect instead of the usual AP rates. I was able to get CSR using BRP for $100 (instead of somewhere near $199) using the BRP from 12/25/05 - 1/03/06.

Usually you have to check in a few days before Christmas. (Last year was an exception and you might get lucky again)

Last year we got the BRP (AP) at the YC for Dec. 25-30. The cost was $240 per night. When we made our ressies the EPCOT resorts and maybe a couple of other resorts had the discount rate available. We wanted the WL, but it wasn't offered at the time we tried.
