Tonight on A&E - Disney special

According to TV Guide, tonight at 9pm on A&E there's a WDW special on. The description reads, "A behind-the-scenes look at Walt Disney World's cutting-edge technology".

Anyone know anything about this? Will it be entertaining, or so technical that a novice like me would be lost. I'm wondering if I should tape it or not. TIA! :)

I think I watched this special on Saturday afternoon. I thought it was very interesting! If nothing else, you'll learn "how they did that" on some rides!

Unfortuntely I didn't tape it but during the show they said that you are able to purchase it.

I just checked A&E's website and they are selling it for 24.95.

This darn show did nothing for us...except make us REALLY want to go back again for the 4th time in 4 years....rats...

It was a really good show in my opinion. I learned a few things that I did not know already. I had no idea that Walt considered WDL imperfect. He apparentlyh thought that he could do better and that is why he started buying up the land around Orlando. Incredible, I wonder what he would think of it now? I like to think he would approve.

Anyone know when A&E will be re-showing this. I only caught the last 40 minutes and it was great.

I taped it if anyone is desperate...it's not a great copy as my vcr is getting old, but if you want to see it, I'd be happy to send it. I thought it was rather interesting and recent...was taped shortly before they finished construction on EE, it includes info on Soarin' and recent stuff as well as lots of historical footage. I thought the construction bits were really interesting!

PM me if you want me to send it. My co-worker has borrowed it right now, but should be returning it soon.
