Finally found these so thought I would post them. This is one of the honeymoon suites at the Wilderness Lodge( from our honeymoon Dec. 2006 better late than never). I don't remember our room number but it was on the concierge floor directly above Whispering Canyon with a tree obstructed view of the tops of buildings at MK.

I loved this tub and it was big enough for DH and I to sit facing each other. No nothing dirty but that way we didn't have to fight over who got to take a bath each night, I'll tell you that after a long day at the park this tub was a wonder on sore muscles.

Interesting thing to note: the Jacuzzi. The wide flat thing in the middle is a Kohler Alterna series flume faucet. Don't get caught breaking it. It costs almost $1,000. I am not kidding. Saw the exact same one being sold at a Home Depot.

We thought our room was great. Before we left we were a bit anxious as a lot of people had posted saying how the rooms were small and a bit cramped, but we thought it was perfect for 2 people. Our room wasn't too close to the pool, food court or bus stops, but also not too far away. It was nice and quiet and we had a great view.

Yes, it is Casitas 3. In front of the Dolphin hotel are the rooftops of the Cabanas, and then the bridge that goes to the Dig Pool.

I think DVC at Last is referring to the fact that in DVC the owners split the operating costs in our dues. Since most of the room pics and discussions here are for the hotel part of the resorts which don't touch DVC it's really a discussion for a different thread and place.

I love seeing the animals set up in a cute fashion, staying on our points we rarely stay in one place long enough to have housekeeping come in and do their magic.

I think what the OP is trying to convey is that leaving lights or televisions on when no one is occupying the room is not being very energy conscious on Disney's behalf and it does sort of reflect in the price of the room. I think it is a cute idea to come back to your room and see the stuffed animals lined up watching tv but not very energy efficient.

Exactly. It is cute, but a complete waste of energy and it does reflect in the cost of everyone's room. It does not matter if it is DVC or a paying guest.
We all pay in the long run. IMO every American needs to be more energy
conscious. Would you do that at your house ?

You can see our room in this picture. It's the top floor room with the little roof on it on the very end, right next to ESPN Club. It was right next to the Vice Presidential Suite. The negative was that it was very loud at night when they show football games on TVs outside the ESPN Club.

Wondering if anyone has any recent pictures of the rooms at Beach Club? There are some at the beginning of Elizabeth's thread, but I was hopeing to see some from the last year or two?

Please post any and all Beach Club room and views and give a short discription of type and location. We are staying there for the first time this September.
