I booked our flights yesterday and on my dd's ticket is just her first and last name. When I got home and took a look at her passport I realized that her full name ( middle names included) were on her passport. Is this going to cause me a headache with the airlines and security? Flying out of Halifax with Continental. Thanks for your help.

I've never used middle names on airline tickets. They've never asked for them, and I've never had a problem. You should be fine.

I'll be going to the Passport Office tomorrow, I'll ask them, that is if I remember to.

No, it won't be a problem. Passports require full names, tickets don't need the middle names. Technically, you don't yet need passports to go to the US anyways. Although, I always had them for my DDs even when infants.

One important thing for travelling with children - make sure both parents are present. If not, you'll need legal documentation that you are able to travel with your children. Keep this in mind if for some reason parents are taking different flights. (I've heard of this happening when there are conferences involved, etc.)
