Rip off?

I am thinking of getting this Alice set (http://disneyshopping.go.com/DSSectionPage.process?Merchant_Id=2&Section_Id=14436&Product_Id=195145&CLK=DS_11776_PRVRV3_IMG) My walls are a tan color, and my bed frame is black/goldish iron, Do you think this is a good deal? Or should I make something like this myself for less?

I like this set but think it is still a bit high even on sale. I also don't know that it would go with your bed frame. Would you consider painting your bed white?

I love Alice, but prefer the original art to the Disney art, sacralige I know. I saw a pillow in a craft store that a woman had made by enlarging an original Alice design (the one were she has a neck like a girafe,love that one!) and used transfer paper to put it on fabric. So, if your into something more artistic and differant you could do alot with the original art which was way more out there than the Disney version. Just a thought.

What's the best transfer paper to use? I've found 2 brands and they were hard plastic.
