I love ice cream but it does not love me. On the rare occasions that I am willing to suffer the nasty after effects of ice cream consumption, my favorites are:
mint chocolate chip, but only if it is super minty.
almond joy (coconut ice cream with chocolate covered almonds)
ben and jerry's chunky monkey
blueberry, available for a few weeks a year at a local ice cream stand.

Mint Chocolate Chip on a plain cone! OH YEAH!
but of course my Coldstone's choice is cake batter with yellow cake, bananas, and chocolate chips...
My other love that no longer exists is Fantasia ice cream from DL... :( so sad they don't have it anymore! Of course I could always make my own at baskin robbins with banana, black cherry, and pistachio...

OOHHHH...Mayfields, regional in this area, has the BEST ice cream. Some of my favorites - moose tracks (vanilla with fudge swirls and small chocolate covered peanut butter bits), peanut butter cookie dough, lemon merangue (sp?) pie, blueberry cobbler, and graham slam. There is NOTHING like Mayfields. If you are ever in this part of the country, treat yourself to some of their premium ice cream.

Blueberry or strawberry cheesecake
But, no sugar for me now, so that also means no ice cream :(.

Has to be Ben & Jerry's Half Baked. It's chocolate and vanilla ice cream with chocolate brownie and cookie dough mixed in. Yum!

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Ice Cream for me! I am doing Weight Watchers right now, so no ice cream at all for a while, but that is my favorite! :teeth: Queenie, that one you described sounds awesome! I must go find some! :thumbsup2

I always go for the exotic combinations when we go out! I love Cold Stone where you can mix all sorts of crazy things. YUM!
At home I strictly have Breyers Natural Vanilla. Then everyone can add what they want.

If I had to pick a favorite at gun-point, I would say black raspberry with jimmies (chocolate sprinkles to all those outside MA). However, I love ice cream and would gladly eat coffee/heathbar crunch, raspberry/chocolate chip, almond joy, mocha chip, blueberry, chocolate chip, coffee, strawberry, butter crunch, any flavor frappe (but especially black and white or mocha) and I'll even eat vanilla, preferably on a slice of blueberry pie.
Once my DS ordered vanilla, DD ordered blueberry and I ordered black raspberry. DD decided she didn't like the blueberry, so DS took it and gave her his vanilla. Then DD decided she didn't want the vanilla and wanted my black raspberry. I ended up with vanilla. I was pretty mad, but I still ate it, even without the blueberry pie.

Ooh Cold Stone. Just got home from there. My favorite there is raspberry sorbet w/fresh raspberries.
Other favorites: Lemon Sorbet, most any sherbets, and Ben & Jerry's Cherries Garcia, and Dove's Chocolate Raspberry
Oh, too many others to mention!
