Hello everyone,
I am new here and I am looking at using our holiday in the summer for a trip to Disney, I have never travelled to the USA before but friends of mine stayed in a villa near disney in the spring (unfortunately it is booked) They said it was the best holiday they ever had.
Can anyone recommend any villas or areas we should be looking ?
I am a member of loads of forums and I am just stacked that I found this one :cool1:

Hi Terri and welcome.
Villas are brilliant and a great base for a good holiday.
The beauty is you have the freedom and privacy, plus all that extra room, private pool etc I could just go on and on (and usually do).
There are 3 very good websites below, each year we stay in a villa and always use these 3 sites until we find the one we really like.
Personally, Kissimmee just off the 192 is our preferred location, here you are very close to supermarkets, restaurants, Disney and the I4 for access to Universal, shopping malls etc
There are 2 main areas here, Formosa Gardens and Poinciana Boulevard.
Both these have several developments to suit , including 3, 4, 5 and even 6! bedroomed homes.
I have stayed at Indian Creek (our preferred choice), Indian Point , Cumbrian Lakes and Chatham Park.
I have also driven around many of the developments.
If you go for one with a south facing pool, you will be better off as this will mean you will get the sun all day.
Most owners hire a local Management Company who look after the homes, ensure whenever you are ready to book that the owners have this in place.
Please feel free to send me a PM if you require any details etc

We've recently discovered two brand new communities just to the south of Disney (off exit 58 of I-4), which are well worth looking at. Sandy Ridge and Terrace Ridge are both far enough out of the hustle-bustle to be peaceful after a day at the parks, while being only 15 minutes or so from Disney. Many of their homes are managed by Welcome Homes USA, and you can look up a couple of examples (both of which have excellent locations within those communities) on this website:

Hi
We stayed in a villa at Indian Wells and have booked one on this same complex with the same company again as we were impressed with the cheap prices. If you have a villa without a pool it works out much cheaper and all of the 'without pool' villas have access to a communial pool which is gated and within walking distance from the villas. The villas are clean and comfortable and quite large. They are literally 10 minutes drive from Disney, just off the Irlo Bronson Highway 192. The villas are ownded by a company in Bournemouth UK and once booked they send you the key a week or so before your departure. Unlike the villas that are owned by management companies in Florida - on arrival in Florida you will have to spend time looking for the office to get the key from a safety deposit box, then you have to proceed to find your villa!!! such a hassle that you can do without after a long flight!!! With laguna villas you already have the key so can go straight to your villa from the airport. The photos do not do the villas justice they are much nicer than they look in the photos and when booking a couple of weeks ago was told that they had all just been refurbished. Check out -laguna villas florida -(without spaces) point com and GOOD LUCK AND HAVE A GREAT TIME!!! had to write website this way as am unable to post in usual way but you know to change the word point for a real dot

Kissimmee is where we stay when we are off-site, normally we rent a villa in Indian Creek. It is only 10-15 minutes away from WDW (if that) :thumbsup2

Hi,
We usually stay at Indian Ridge which is 192 west, ideally situated for everything. We managed to find a great villa as follows:-
holidaylettings co uk
Property id:5751
We have stayed here already for this year and have booked again for next year. I cannot fault this accommodation at all, it caters for all my needs, children and all.
Good luck in finding accommodation.
