My Husband and I stayed there in 2001 and it was a good hotel. All the rooms are in high blocks separate from the main hotel building, Only one complaint was that the lift wasn't working all the time! The reception was newly renovated when we where there, (work was actually going on then!) and the restaurant is ok as is the bar and mini mart. A freind recently came back from there and had a good stay.

One bad thing is he said they have knocked down Pointe Orlando shopping centre which had some good restaurants upstairs, but saying that you should have a great time.

Well, my opinion is opposite of what has been posted so far here but we stayed at Quality Inn Plaza in 1/2001 and it was soooooo horrible that we didn't even finish out our Priceline stay but changed hotels after the first night and took what we already spent as a loss. Our rooms both had leaky loud refridgerators, smelled like mildew, traffic noise from I-4 was LOUD, furniture was old (70's table & chairs, dressers), we could hear other people yelling in other rooms while in the bathroom, there was mildew around the shower enclosure, etc... - oh, and no hairdryer in the rooms either but we were able to borrow one from the front desk. This hotel is what taught me to never bid less than 3 stars on Priceline!
