I'm sitting around reading my Passporter and Unoffical guides tonight and I keep seeing places for kids to play in fountains and get wet. Cool. I have swimsuits and swim diapers packed, but how many do I take in to the parks? Can my DS (15 months old) just wear a regular diaper and swim trunks to play in a fountain? If I put his wet bathing suit in a ziplock, do I just put the same wet suit back on him the next time we come to a wet activity? I'm so clueless about Disney with kids! But I"m sooo excited!

I usually bring 2 swim diapers and his bathing suit. As for the regular diaper, Disney asks for a diaper cover or rubber pants over it. I usually drape his wet suit over the handle bars of the stroller (I tied the draw string to the handles, so that when the cm move my stroller, it stays put). With the hot Fl sun, it dries fast.

I plan to take my children's swim suits in my backpack. They are both potty trained (5 and 2 now) so I won't have to worry about swim diapers. I think the pp's idea of drying them on the stroller is great -- they'll be ready to use again when they need them.

In the parks themselves, we didn't get into changing into bathing suits. I just let them play in the fountains and let their clothing air dry. I did change diapers so that they would be dry. If my dd4 was particularly wet, I always had dry panties and a few extra changes of clothes.

I found it more important to change their shoes than their clothes. I just let them walk for a little bit and "air dry" in their wet clothes- they didn't mind walking because they were so cooled off . The wet shoes can be miserable though so I brought water shoes to slip on them b4 they started playing so they wouldn't get their walking sandals wet. Oh, and of course, we changed the little ones diaper right after in case it was wet and heavy (turns out he didn't get nearly as wet as big brother did though).
