Since I just finished the Minnie 15k - my first race ever - I NEED a new race to train for, or I know I will stop exercising. I need something to force me to keep my butt moving!

Any good sites to find area races? I need to find something to train for!

Kristi- you can try looking at the calendar in Runner's World. You can search by area. Cool Running.com has a race calendar too, and they seem to be a New England based site.

Another good bet would be to go to your local running club website and look under events. If they do not have a good number of races to choose from use their links and click on other area running club sites for their race calender.

Kristi- the best calender I have found for the New England region is on coolrunning.com. They have articles about races, calenders, and race results.

I found a bunch (including international) at www.walking.about.com - that takes you to a link to marathons, half marathons, and ultras (yikes!) The original site is for walkers, but the link to the schedules is not. Who would have thought there are so many marathons?? My DH was especially interested in the Vegas one, but their time limit is a little to short for me.
