Here is another photo that I took at the Grand Floridian. It's Narcoossee's and a good place to eat if you want a good view of the Magic Kingdom :thumbsup2 It's right by the water and it looks like such a pretty place to eat.

I don't think that I will ever eat here though, because it looks like a place where you have to kinda dress up and I like to wear my Flower Tee-Shirts and stuff so I don't think that this is the place for me. The 1900 park fair and the Grand Floridian Café are the places for little me :goodvibes I just thought that I would let you all know, in case any of you want to eat there :)

Very pretty shot! I've never eaten there either (I'm not a huge fan of seafood), but I'll bet it does have some awesome MK views. I'll have to give it a try one day.

Is that a pedestrian walkway?

No. That is an access road for the savannah vehicles to get out there with food and such. The drove by one morning with a load of hay (or similar) and one small giraffe was keenly interested in that truck. It was fun to watch.

Because I had been reading through many home plan book and many of the homes were Cape Cod / New England style (which was not one of my favorites) I had no interest on visiting the Yacht and Beach Club. We went to all of the resorts to check them out during the week, including the Swan and Dolphin, but I didn't care if I saw the Y & B Clubs. On Thursday we had extra time so drove over to the Beach club and parked and walked up toward the front. Got the photo below. Went inside. Sisterliked the BC better than the GF. Went out through the back and saw the Boardwalk across the lake (would open in 2 months) and walked over to the Yacht Club. We loved it all and I stayed at the Yacht Club in 1997. :thumbsup2

That's the funny thing--it seems to happen a lot. I didn't think I would enjoy the AKL based on pictures I had seen online and its overall theme, but I stayed there once and fell in love with it! I find the pictures often don't do the resorts justice.

How it happened: I wanted to take a shot of the monorail gliding into the CR, and while browsing the atrium one morning, poof, there it was, rounding the bend, about to enter. I quickly pulled up my camera (Pentax *ist DL), pointed and clicked.

I wish I could attribute it to my breathtaking skill or brilliant gift for photographic composition. But no.

I have really enjoyed looking at all the beautiful pictures. Well the hubby agreed! We are going to the Dolphin the week after Thanksgiving! WOOHOO! I am thrilled. I haven't been to Disney in two years and this trip is extra special because we get to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary in Disney! This trip will also be our first stay at the Dolphin. Anyone have any pictures of the rooms at the Dolphin? I have seen a few, but we are trying to figure out which rooms have the sofa and which do not. Any thoughts? Thanks so much for your pictures!

I am pretty sure it is a villa at BCV maybe a 2 bedroom I would imagine.
Nope, that room is definitely not a BCV room. It's at the Beach Club main resort -- I'd also love to know what "type" of room it is, as it definitely looks larger than most of the room photos I've seen.
