This thread is the way it is set up as. That is what is great about these boards as there are many boards on here, one for characters, one for anything Disney and this one just for resorts so everyone gets to see ALL the resorts. I would like to try to stay at each and every Disney resort and by seeing all these great pictures I see many things I want to do at each of the resorts etc. That is why I post the resort pictures here and go to other boards to post pictures of my kids, or parades etc( let's me post even more pictures that way too ;) . I love seeing all these pics, but it makes me want to stay EVERYWHERE! I really want to budget for a Mod next trip (I've only ever stayed at the All-Stars) but I don't know which one I'd choose, they all look gorgeous! But if I can't afford a Mod, Pop looks really fun. :)

Thank you also. Sorry I do not know which one it was. We stayed in Oak Manor and liked it very much. We are returning in September and are staying at POR again. We found it to be our fave. We liked the way it was spread out and I loved the old southern mansion look.

This is a crappy shot but it's the only one I have of a Boardwalk room. I requested a room close to transportation (just cuz I'm lazy), and they gave us a handicapped room that was apparently not booked by a handicapped person. I don't think the normal rooms have as much space, the area at the foot of the beds was huge!

If I had a scanner you'd see that I have one too. I've got pictures of the lights in the villas hallways, and even the Mickey arch things that are part of the hallways. The lights (ok everything) at the WL are amazing

As pretty as it is, it was even more stunning IRL...I was sitting drinking my morning coffee when the clouds started to roll in from the west...WOW! Maybe Pop Centery is a "themed Motel 6", but I wouldn't have gotten a shot like that at a regular Motel 6 :thumbsup2

I agree....My favorite thing to do is split my reservation at CR. 4 days MK view and 4 days wing/water view(south wing). I think of it as my front yard and back yard views....both are fantastic!
But my favorite spot of all at the CR is a beach chair at the quiet pool at the back of the pool right above the lagoon water. I can hear the whistle of the MK train and the water lapping against the dock at the same time.......heaven!!!!!!

You know I had a cute idea about what I will do here for the next 3 days. Okay on Wed. ( May 31st 2006 ) I had dinner at the 1900 park fair. While I was on the Monorail, on my way to my cute little character meal with Suzy and Perla, I took some photos :thumbsup2

I love this resort and I plan on staying at the Polly sometime. I would like to try it for 4 nights and 5 full days. If I stay at this resort I could walk to the 1900 park fair to see my cute little friends Suzy and Perla :cloud9: It's such a pretty walk from the Polly to the Grand. I am in good shape and I walk a lot so walking is easy for me, plus I am 6 foot 3 so I can walk fast :p I love to walk :goodvibes

Also Polly has a cool looking pool. If I go to the Polly I will try to take a photo of the pool and post it here. When I stay at the Polly I will spend a lot of time in the Polly Pools :goodvibes

I also wanted to thank everyone for posting their pictures. I change the background on my computer about once a week with a new picture from these boards. Its funny to watch people walk by and ask where the pictures were taken. They are always surprised to hear Disney, especially when there isn't a mouse in the picture. We stayed there in May 2005 and had a curtain then, so I'm not sure when that started. The beds are high, but I didn't have trouble getting in and out (I'm 5"1'). Hope that helps!

We stayed there in May 2005 and had a curtain then, so I'm not sure when that started. The beds are high, but I didn't have trouble getting in and out (I'm 5"1'). Hope that helps!

OMG! The luggage truck is SO fun! What a hoot seeing that go down the highway! :rotfl2: Thanks for posting that Elisabeth...that is what DME uses, right? This August we will be trying DME for the first time.

BTW...a funny thing I noticed...in many of the pictures it looks like the rain is about to come down...hard! lol Yep, that's Florida for ya! Rains like crazy almost every day but only for an hr or so! My vacation pictures are the same...clouds, clouds, clouds! hahaha!

I'm not sure if DME uses those or not. I just saw it at Pop and thought it was too cute. I think that may be what Pop's internal luggage assistance CM's use. :)
