Y'know...between being in love and going insane and worrying about child custody issues...I am also wondering if everyone else is feeling like they should have a "special" dress for their rehearsal dinner? ;) I've got it in my head...pretty, floaty, summery, not too "sundressy" but not formal...y'know...a rehearsal dinner dress!

Old navy is having a sale online and I got a really CUTE dress for $10.99! Normally I only do old navy for tanks and flip flops, but this dress is adorable!! AND if you shop in the kid section you can get super cutie dresses for even cheaper! :rotfl: There are advantages to being short! So I got a really cute skirt for $8 and a tank dress for $10 along with the other cutie dress I found...oops, did I go overboard? But those things all count as "wedding expenses" right? Which is why they go on the "wedding expenses" Discover card that is not, in fact, paid out of MY checking account! :woohoo: ;)

when feeling stressed, retail therapy is advisable!!! :cool1:

I choose this skirt:

and a top with this neck but fancier.

I wanted everyone to look dressed up, but not TOO dressy. We had an Intimate so there wasn't a real rehearsal, but we did a run-through of the ceremony followed by dinner at Artist Point. It was just me and DH, MOH, my daddy, MIL and FIL.

I found a very pretty Ann Taylor Loft dress on sale! Ivory with turquoise and light green floral print, went to just about to my knees, with a sweetheart neckline, and I wore strappy silver sandals. I haven't worn the dress again yet, I want to because it's so pretty and fits so nice. I think I might wear it for Mother's Day brunch with the in-laws.

And I completely understand "retail therapy" :rotfl: it's better than Ben & Jerry's therapy :rotfl2:

Before, I wasn't sure if I should wear anything "special" or not, but more recently I have been looking at dresses for the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. I have been looking at some tea length bridesmaid dresses. Really only because I was jealous that my bridesmaids were able to have fun and try on dresses, so I decided to join in :)

Here are two that I am thinking about:

I dread to think what we will be wearing on our rehearsal dinner! It is Halloween :rotfl2: We have two boys so i will have to make an effort! 18 people dressed for halloween a night before a wedding, what a nightmare! I can see myself up until the early hours of the morning scrubbing the makeup off the boys faces!

LOVED my dress...it was from Express. A strapless pale blue eyelet sundress with a skinny belt and a full skirt. It came about to my knees. I'm wearing it to a wedding this weekend!

I can't find a decent picture, but hopefully I'll get one this weekend!
