I lost about 50 lbs on South Beach last year - it's a great plan if you stick with it ! There's another thread on this board titled "South Beach Dieters....Unite" .....it's long, but has lots of useful information in it (links to foodlists, recipes, etc) and if you have any questions you can post them and someone is sure to have an answer for you !

Don't know about wisdom, but I can comiserate - started Monday. Made it through two rough spots but someone of limited credibility told be Day 3 is worst. PM if you want to be part of my SB Phase 1 email buddy system. After Phase 1, I figure I'll be ready to join the SB dieters Unite thread... Good luck to us all :)
