fill in the blank:

If it wasn't for W.I.S.H., I would/wouldn't _______________

for me it's: If it wasn't for W.I.S.H., I wouldn't of thought of counting minutes and having a goal of a certain amounts of minutes for exercise. That really helps me if I'm lagging, since I know I have to meet my minutes goal.

If it wasn't for W.I.S.H. I wouldn't have started exercising 2 weeks ago.

I just started coming to DIS a couple of weeks ago and came across the W.I.S.H. forum. I had been saying for several months that I needed to start exercising again, but I just couldn't get motivated. The daily exercise thread, got me motivated. For some reason posting my exercise minutes on here got me going again. If I come to the W.I.S.H. forum and haven't done my exercise yet, it reminds to get moving. Thanks to all for helping me get moving again.

If it wasn't for W.I.S.H. I wouldn't have set small exercise and monthly wieght goals. I would have focused on the large number od pounds and would have given up sooner.

If it weren't for WISH, I wouldn't feel accountable to keep trying to monitor my points and my exercise--I would've just given up whenever I got frustrated. Knowing I want to post on the exercise threads, the monthly "lose 5" challenges, and the 100-day challenge keeps me going!

this is inspiring!!

i would -- graze mindlessly and continue to let the weight creep on, shop for new bigger jeans and give up getting back to my WW goal

i wouldn't -- journal as faithful (still not 100% but i'm getting there), exercise as much thanks to the monthly challenge, feel it really CAN and WILL happen and focus on the mini-goals instead of overwhelming myself and quitting

Hi,
If it weren't for WISH, I wouldn't set minute goals. These goals help me reach my bigger goal of staying healthy.

The first time I set a goal of 1000 minutes I slacked off and the last couple of days I was exercising like crazy :rotfl2: trying to meet my goal and report my minutes to the board. At least I was able to say I met my goal.

I will stay on track this time.

Thanks

If it wasn't for WISH, I wouldn't....

be 50 pounds lighter, have more energy than I ever imagined I would have, and a have a totally different outlook on my life!!!!!! And I wouldn't still be working on losing and getting even healthier - I would have quit a LONG time ago.

THANK YOU!

If it weren't for W.I.S.H., I wouldn't get back on that elliptical trainer every morning and sweat out 30+ minutes. So far, I've lost just under 5 lbs. in 2 weeks but my pants fit better and I can climb a flight of steps without getting winded. If not for posting my daily exercise and weekly weigh in results on W.I.S.H, I'd have quit a week ago. Everyone has been so encouraging and uplifting.

If it wasn't for W.I.S.H. I would have given up the first time I had a bad day. The encouragement I get on my journal is really what keeps me going.

If it wasn't for W.I.S.H. I would not get out and exercise. The monthly challenges are areally motivating. :yay:
