Paying In Advance

Hi, has anyone paid for their room in advance with a credit card @ either of the Universal Hotels? Is it as easy Disney is?

I paid for my room at HRH in advance. I just gave them the information over the phone. No problems at all.

I did the same for Portofino, just gave them my cc # over the phone, however, I did have to stress that I wanted to pay the ENTIRE amount in advance. I got a little flack, as they wanted to put just 1 night as a down payment, but, I needed to pay the whole amount in full. Once I had made that clear, there were no problems with payment.
