Renting from a DVC Member

I don't know if this is an appropriate question or not. Has anybody ever had a bad experience renting from a DVC member? I have seen a few posts from DVC members who had a bad experience with a renter, but not vice versa. From what I have seen here on the DIS, the DVC members are like a big, extended family and I would trust them completely. :grouphug: My travelling companions, however, are a little skeptical. I'm just looking for some reassurance. Thanks in advance!

I have not, since we are members. However, if you don't get a lot of responses here, you may want to pose the same questions over on the resorts board. I seem to recall a fair number of posts there from folks who have rented from DVC members. Good luck!

Rented from the same party a few times had no problem except it got me hooked on DVC, I now own at BWV.
