It's getting close but in case anyone will be in Orlando/WDW for Mother's Day here are some activities I found that look like a nice way to treat mom.

1.) If you're looking to give Mom a well-deserved getaway, the Gaylord Palms Resort is offering "Mothers of the Year" resort packages that include a special ceremony to honor mom for her hard work and dedication. At the Sunday-morning cremony, all mothers will be introduced and given a commemorative "Mother's of the Year" certificate, a flower and a souvenir photo. The one- two- or three-night packages include a Florida-view guest room, daily breakfast and a special Mother's Day Brunch. Make reservations by calling 407-586-2000.

4.) Harry P. Leu Gardens, in downtown Orlando, pays tribute to moms by offering them free admission on Mother’s Day. The 50-acre gardens will give you the chance to take a breather and enjoy the largest camellia display outside of California and the largest formal rose garden in Florida.

5.) This Mother's Day, Single Creek Golf Club is offering Mom the chance to try her hand at a course that was named one of the "Top 40 New Courses" by Golfweek magazine. On May 14th, all moms will receive a complimentary round of golf - including cart - when accompanied by a spouse, parent or child. Tee time reservations are being accepted by calling 407-996-9933 or by registering online.

6.) The Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress will hold three buffets in tribute to mom. The La Coquina Champagne Brunch is presented from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the chef’s working kitchen and consists of a five-course meal. This brunch is perfect for moms who love to cook—the chef will share secrets of the trade while preparing your feast. Prices are $65 for adults and $32.50 for children. The Cascade Brunch will take place from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. Prices are $45 for adults and $22.50 for children. 7.) Portofino Bay Hotel at Universal Orlando, A Loews Hotel, will feature a Mother’s Day Champagne Brunch in Trattoria del Porto from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. Each mom will receive a gift sample of refreshing bath gel from Mandara Spa along with a potted herb plant. 8.) Mother & Daughter Spa Collection at Disney’s Grand Floridian Spa & Health Club—This three-hour package includes a 25-minute stress recovery facial, 25-minute Swedish massage, 25-minute reflexology, and 50-minute spa manicure or pedicure.
