?? about tie-dye color combo

ALready thinking ahead about shirts for Oct. trip. We're going to our 1st MNSSHP on 10/19. I'm just looking at tiedying not doing art work. MY QUESTION IS......how would it work to tie dye a shirt orange then dip some of it in black???? Anyone ever done one like that, how did it turn out...great or gross. THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR ANY HELP, ADVICE, SUGGESTIONS!!! :cool1:

The only advice I can give you was given to us by a professional tie dye artist. To get black and other colors you have to start with a black shirt and bleach out the areas you want to color and then color from there.
