Folks, any idea what the parks will be like in May for q times?? Really wanting to know if there will be any American holidays at that time ie spring break or anything..... Was ther ein June last year and was extremely busy waiting an hour to hour and a half for nearly everything!!!

May is normally a great time for crowds, there is a bank holiday towards the end of the month and after that it gets really busy but before that its normally a great time for weather and crowds!

Ist year we went on May 19th - very hot and humid, not a cloud in the sky and i thought the parks were manageable.

Last year we went slightly later on May 25th - bad idea! Poured with rain for 4 days solid and the parks were packed (except on the raining days, they were empty then)

This year hoping for empty parks (!) and hot weather again .....going on May 10th.

Early May is a pretty good time to go for a good balance between lowish crowds and nice weather.
As you get nearer June it gets hotter and generally more busy too.

I think from March through May the weather can be difficult to predict to a degree, although generally I would expect it to be around the low 80s building up to the high eighties as the month progresses.

Me too, we are going on 11 May for 7 days :thumbsup2

18th for us for 3 weeks.
We are wanting to get the parks done towards the early part of our holiday as there are certain days in early June that I am wanting to avoid.

Good news folks thanx.... we are away on 11th May for the three weeks...Awesome!! Certainly on the wind down from work now!!
