Milesource redemption? Supercertificate or Marriott

I am not sure what the Marriott reward is. In the past I just ordered a supercertificate and then cashed that in for a paper Marriott gift certificate that came in the mail. But now I see you can order a Marriott reward directly but I think it is not a paper gift certificate. Has anyone ordered a Marriott reward and can explain what it is?

Hi. I have redeemed for this. You have to make your reservation through a travel agency provided by Milesource. THEN they send you the same type of GC that you would get from Gift Certificate.com.

I had no problems, but I would not do it again, because we often do weekend trips on the spur of the moment. Planning ahead is a problem for me.

I would go for the Marriott GC from milesource - then you have that in hand and you can use it to pay for whatever reservation price you get - sometimes they have some really good offers.
