Too large to ride Expedition Everest?

We are heading to Disney in a few weeks. Has anyone heard that large people don't fit on Expedition Everest? Is there anyone out there who is a bigger person and has ridden the new attraction? My husband is large, and is getting nervous about not fitting on the ride.

I have a Pooh sized friend who went recently and had no problem. They also have a test car so your husband can try out the car before getting in line. I'm not sure where the car is, but I'm sure any CM at the ride can point you in the right direction.

If the lap bar does not com down what you have to do is sort of stand up in the seat, bring the lap bar down to the first click, and then sit down sliding under the bar. It does work. Usually, unless you are extremely large, the CMs will even suggest that to you.

I'm 6'5" and weigh around 350, I rode it just fine. If hubby is bigger then that I don't want to meet him in a dark alley.
