Packages delivered to DVC Resorts?

My DH has a question and doesn't believe my answer. So I told him I would confirm with the professionals - so okay professionals here goes:
Can you have packages delivered to room from the parks, specifically to SSR?
I told him yes but he doesn't want to listen. :confused3 I guess the whole DVC bit vs. a paid hotel has him confused.

Yes. When you buy at any of the parks' stores, just tell them you want it delivered to your resort. When it arrives (anywhere between 6 hours and 1 day later) you'll get a message on your phone telling you to pick it up, usually at your resort lobby or shop (this varies by resort). It's a great service that saves lugging stuff around all day!

The only time this doesn't work is during the last 24 hours of your stay, since it can take as long as a day for the package to get back to the resort.

I remember when they used to deliver it to your rooms.....


Didn't have to go the the front store and wait for them to fetch...

A good service, but not great like it used to be....

That is true they deliver to the resort stores for pickup. Also, if you buy somehting big and want it shipped home any of the stores will ship home right at purchase and you don't have to pay tax. Many times the shipping has been close to what tax might have been so it's worth it not to have to get it on an airplane to return home.
