Hi all,
I am a DVC member and AP holder and am planning a trip for next April (07), Easter Week. Does anyone know if there are ever AP discounted rates for the Grand Floridian, when those would become available, and whether Easter week would be blacked out? I usually stay at the Boardwalk but would love to try a few nights at GF if possible.
Thanks for any and all information :)

Yes, we have AP rates for the GF in both July 2004 and July 2005.

Robyn,
Do you remember what the rate was? Last year we stayed at the BC and it was 248.OO with tax in July. Just wondering how much more it would be to stay at GF. :)

We had two reservations July 1-4 (regular season) and July 5-16 (value season). I believe regular season was $100 discount (I actually had a pin code for this that was about $10 cheaper than the AP rate) Value season (no pin code) was $75 off the regular rate. We had a lagoon view and I forget what the regular season was but I'm pretty sure the value season was $400 - $75 (AP rate) - $325 plus tax. Hope this helps.

I am pretty sure Easter was blocked this year for AP rates.

Yep, she's right ::yes:: - this year 2006 AP rates were from 2/16/06-4/13/06 Annual Passholder room-only rates (became available on 1/10/06, exp 4/8/06) and then 4/23/06-6/3/06 Annual Passholder room-only rates (became available on 2/22/06, exp 6/3/06), so those left out Easter on 4/16/06.

I figured as much about the block-out - thanks for the information!
