Can you believe it's May already!!!!!! Time to enjoy more days outside and celebrate new life with flowers coming up and weight coming off. Come sign up for this great challenge full of lots of support from everyone here.

.1 - .5 lbs. lost will be in Royal Blue
.6 - 1.5 lbs. lost will be in Orange
1.6 - 2.4 lbs. lost will be in Lime
2.5 - 4.9 lbs. lost will be in Blue
5 - 6.5 lbs. lost will be in Yellow Green
6.6 - 8 lbs. lost will be in Red
8.1 - 10 lbs. lost will be in Indigo
10.1 lbs. and over will be in Magenta

I've been a no-show on the WISH for most of April. I am just relieved I haven't gained weight in that time.

Put me in for 5 pounds. I went for 5 pounds last month and ended up losing 10 pounds and I only had 2 weeks to go. I started back exercising on easter morning, the 16th. I have worked my butt off- exercising every day.

Thanks for managing this, Chris! I am in for 7 this month, since I actually got a "WHOOSH" and lost 2.4 over the last couple days. :confused3 I MUST have really been bloated!

If I can do 5 a month between now and my 1/2 marathon in September, I will have met my mini-goal, so I really appreciate the motivation!

I am at 2.4/7.

I weighed on the scale from you-know-where today, and I am down a pound. That puts me at 1/5. TOM will be sometime soon, so I don't know what that will bring, but for right now, I'm happy with my pound! (or without it, actually!) :thumbsup2

Well I'm up a pound this morning. Rather frustrated in a way but I know why too. I've been going through a lot of stressful stuff lately and while I"m good enough to not BUY the sweet stuff, I don't have the control to not eat (and eat and eat and eat) when offered. Perhaps this week will be better.

I must've been on the bloated train, too :rolleyes: , but I weighed today and now I am down 3.5 pounds total for May. I have upped my exercise as a stress reliever, so I think that is helping.

I WI on Friday last week since Sat is my normal day and I was leaving for WDW on Friday, anyway, I was shocked to learn that I was down 3.6 this week!!! :banana: Don't ask me how, but I'll take it!! So now I am 3.6/10.

I had missed my TOPS meeting for three weeks because of final exams & projects and had a seven pound gain last week for my first May weigh in.
This week, I had an eight pound loss.
Funny what happens when you eat sensibly, keep a menu, and exercise...

I am happy to report that I am down 2 pounds today. I think the WOOSH fairy hit me finally the TOM. So I've lost my pound I gained plus another pound.

:yay: :wave2: I have lost 3.5. I am slow updating because I use the Curves scale as my official wieght. My scale at home is not reliable. I get get on and off of it 3 times in a row and get 3 different wieghts. :confused3
BTW Do I have to email someone to get my weights updated in the OP?

i was down 6/8, but i've gained (oh no!!) so now i'm 3.5/8. havent been exercising lately and went over my ww points on sunday, monday and tuesday (decided to have a cheat day sunday, ended up lasting 3 days... wont be doing that again).

Mom2boys - I do an update at least once a week on the OP and sometimes more often. I had a very busy weekend and so didn't do any updates after last Thursday until today. Work has been nuts and that's the only time I can update (I have a hard time getting to the computer at night).

Good job everyone - keep up the great work. I'm up .5 a pound from last week so far but I'm not gonna be official until Thursday (I'm really trying to only stick to one weight a week and last week I weighed on Thursday).

I have lost another .5 pounds this week. I thought it was going to be more but apparently the food I ate last night, which wasn't much, or the food I ate yesterday afternoon decided to settle in my stomach and not come out (I was almost at the same weight I weighed at last night before working out this morning (yes, I checked)). But this is good. I'm still in the losing section so far this month. Haven't done that since December!!!! :woohoo: :woohoo:

Hi, I generally WI on Mondays. For the past two weeks I have been down 2 Fr-Sun and then back up even on Mondays. :furious: This week I was down 2 by tuesday and down another 1 today. So I want to take my down 2 and planning on at least those 2 staying off over the weekend. More would be great, but I'm taking what I can get right now. Is that ok? If it is, that means I am 2/5 for the month.

I think I'm going to have to withdraw from this one. I'm back up a pound this week which puts me at 0/5. Plus it's TOM this week which means next week could be spectacular however I'm just not in the right frame of mind for it. After next week I'll be out of the country for two weeks, working hard and having no control over what's served to me (though I will have control over how much of it I eat). Perhaps when I get back I'll join back up. Til then, keep up the great losses!

I was sooooooo happy that I had lost 4/5 lbs. Now, over the weekend (see my post about overindulging on the weekend), I went back up 3 lbs!!!

Good job everyone. I have been so up and down all week that I think I need to go with whatever I show at next Wednesday because TOM starts for me on Wednesday/Thursday next week (glad it's at the beginning of the month).

You guys are doing so great. Sorry that you have to stop Ldy - it WILL happen. Good luck on your trip and travels! Have a safe trip and hopefully you can have a little good time! :)

I'm up .5 pounds but I'm still at a loss for this month. Hopefully I can get a few more off before Wednesday. I've been working really hard cleaning my house for a party we are having for dd's confirmation on Sunday so that has been my main source of exercise - and I mean cleaning.

I'm finally (at least temporarily) down another pound. That puts me at 5.5 for May and lets me change my clippie again! Keep your fingers crossed that I do well at the cookouts this weekend!

I'm up 2 pounds this morning - dd's confirmation was on Sunday and I ate like a pig after we got home and needless to say I had to eat the cake until it was gone (well didn't need to but I did - between she and I and fortunately there wasn't much left). So now I'm pumping in the water and eating lots of fruits and veggies today to get that water and salt and sugar out of my body!!!!!

Down another pound this morning to 173. Puts me at 4/5! This was not too surprising since I had been at 173 all of last week until my official WI yesterday was 174 :furious: Now the real question is can I get 1 more pound by tomorrow? Not likely, but I am eating lots of lettuce & protein and drinking lots of water today to try. :rotfl2:

Today is my weigh-in day. I was down another 3 pounds! That put me at 30 pounds overall! I am so excited! :banana:

I figure that a couple of pounds will hitch a ride back with me from vacation, but hopefully, I'll be able to walk most of the off! :cool1:

Well this started out as a good month for me but has ended on not a good note. I'm up and TOM is on my back door (which is why I'm up because I am REALLY bloated and swollen today despite drinking 117.8 ounces of liquid yesterday and watching what I ate). So I'm starting over in June.

Good job to everyone this month. I'm off to update and start the June thread but please keep posting your updates. Today is not over and what you start at tomorrow can end your amount for this month.

I did it! :banana: 172.0 on the scale this morning puts me down another lb and 5/5 for the month. Yesterday I ate well, drank a ton of water, and exercised for 95 minutes. I was determined to get that last pound.

Thanks so much for doing the challenge. It has definitely been a good way to keep me motivated. :teeth:

I checked this morning and although I lost 3 and then gained it back at one point. I have lost 6 lbs for the month of May!!! :cool1:

Keep the updates coming. Well I had a bad gain this month which isn't good so I gave up my 50 pound clippie and went back to the 45. I haven't been able to stay consistently off at 50 so I'm starting over again. I'm upping my exercise this month and I have no other choice but to really pay attention to my eating. I know for most people what I have lost in the past 11 months is great but not what I had hoped to be at.

You guys all did awesome again this month! Keep up the good work and I look forward to you all next month updating.

I managed to lose 1.6 this month. Not great, but I feel like my arm and leg muscles are more defined - I can see that I have a muscle now. 21.6 lbs this year. On to the next challenge.

That is a great job DC. At least, unlike me, you didn't gain that 1.6. And you have done great job being down that much so far. Slow and easy is what my doc says and it will tend to stay off. Keep up the good work!
