Spring break 2007 ?

How is spring break dates determined is there an exact science. Next years spring break at my son school is mar 21-thru mar 26.

Ours is the first week of April. We'll be heading down!!

We're in GA and our spring break is also the 1st week in April (which is also Easter week :scared: ). We'll be fighting the crowds but enjoying our first stay at the Poly :cool1: !

We don't have our 2006-2007 calendar yet. (NYC public schools) However, based on the dates for Easter and Passover, I'm assuming our spring break will be April 2-10. :wizard:

My son and I will be heading out on March 29. :cheer2:

Our school district does a great job of giving us calendars for years in advance. I actually have the 06/07 & 07/08 calendars which are available on the district website. I love it for planning! Sometimes there are minor adjustments but for the long breaks it is pretty much standard. We have always had Good Friday and the week after Easter for spring break. Next year they have added the following Monday also. Their dates off are April 6-16. Gives us plenty of time to drive to WDW and back leisurely.

Our Spring Break(Central Wis school district) for 2007 is set for the week of March 26-30. The only reason I know this particular fact this far in advance is because I am happily planning our next trip around it. After taking my children out of school for 2 weeks at a time over the last 2 years, I decided to finally coordinate somewhat with the school's break schedule. I realize this will be crazy busy but my children keep having birthdays and my DH and I are not getting any younger :teeth:
