Stormalong Bay / Pool Access Before Check In?

We are going to stay at BCV in Oct. We are going to stay the first night at a Disney hotel and then transfer to BCV to save weekend points. On the day of transfer, can we use the pool before we check in?? Check in is 4 pm what if we get there at noon and want to use the pool??

You can "check in" @ the resort desk @ 7:00 a.m. if you like & do paperwork & get resort cards (think EMH).

They'll give you a number to call & check later in the day when you can actually get into your room.

In the meantime, you are free to use the facilities; just as you are @ any WDW resort.

You can go ahead and check in, but your room probably won't be ready. They will give you your room keys so you can use the pool, you will just need to go back by the desk to get your room number.

is there also a regular pool at bcv or just the stormalong thing?

I have gone to BCV twice.

In 2004 I arrived very early in the morning. Told the front desk I was there. They did the paperwork for me. The room wasn't ready, but we were able to wait while the kids swam in Storm-A-Long Bay. The wait goes real fast when the kiddies are busy and mom & dad drink a few soda's. :woohoo:

We were also able to use Stormalong Bay after our official BCV "check out" time when we stayed for one night. We used the pool while we waited for our check in at BWV.
