Is this unheard of??? My favorite character is pooh and would love to find a way to incorporate it into my day?

I can only give alittle advice, but here goes. There are tons of baby and toddler things Winnie the Pooh, stationary, stickers, all kinds of things. Hit up winnie the pooh items and put them as centerpieces or something. Another idea, is to use a monogram of poohs head's as your symbol for the wedding. There are planty of printers that can work with you on this idea.

I'm thinking something more subtle, like one of Pooh's honeybees for your symbol or a stylized hunny pot. You can incorporate it into a monogram, stationery, embroidery on items, favors, etc.
There is a great quote from Pooh about living to be one hundred minus one day so you never have to live a day without him. That would be great for your ceremony, on your programs or invitations.
HTH,

edited to add, oh, duh! you have the quote in your siggie. :rolleyes1

I love Pooh Bear, too. I have posted my disney wedding on here a couple of times...here is my "surprise" from my dad. We had a Pooh Bear Ice Sculpture. He was standing on a brick my DH & my names on it. He even had a light on him so that he was Pooh Bear color and not just clear (ice color). I had found out about it, so it wasn't a surprise..but my dad still doesn't know the I knew (7 years later).

This was at a home wedding. He found a company near Boston that did it for us.

We're in Boston and also having a home wedding with a disneymoon. Could you ask your dad where he got it? It's probably not in the budget (we're paying for our wedding ourselves) but how can I know it's definately not when I don't know the price :-)

I want to say they were in Brookline. I will send him (or I should email my mom...she has the better memory :cool1: ) an email and find out the name. I'll have to see if I have a picture in my proofs and try and scan it. I'm sure my photographer took a picture of it.

It was brookline ice that did the sculpture for us. My parents had to get a picture of pooh bear for them to go by. Pooh bear is not listed on their website, but I'm sure you can ask. If I remember correctly, it was a couple of hundred dollars. We had it so Pooh Bear could hold some balloons and ordered a bouquet of balloons from my florist.

They delivered it to my wedding site, too. Which was in Dedham (Hilton at Dedham Place). If I get a chance to dig thru my pics, I'll try and scan one.
