making reservations 60 days or less (holding account)

Has anyone ever cancelled and had to have their points put into a holding account? Have you then found difficulty in making your reservation with these points since you're limited to 60 days or less before desired dates? This might happen to us and I just wanted some info. Thanks!

A lot will depend on your use year and what time of the year you will try to reserve suing the holding points.

If you have a Dec use year and cancel now- you will be hard pressed to find much available. If you cancel now and have an Aug use year- there will likely be many options between now and next July.
