Hi, I have a 2 1/2 yr old DD, and 6 yr old DS. What are some of your suggestions for keeping everyone happy while waiting in line?

Also, any ideas for what to bring on an airplane for my DD and DS? I have a "magic" pen and book, (the kind where you use the marker and colors appear underneath in the picture) for each of them, but am not sure what else to bring.

Thanks

Bubbles! Not for the plane, of course, but for waiting in line.

we do several things for the plane:
I have a DS 3 and DD5
each kid gets their own kiddie suit case. In Ds bag I put the extra's I need so I am not carring a ton of stuff
DS:
new books, especially the lift a flap or the ones that have action in them
the new crayons that only mark on special paper
etche sketch-he loves it!
couple of trucks
disney beanie
silly putty
not much else he always falls asleep
DD:
new disney beanie
Coloring table that has a roll of coloring pages
new markers, crayons
books
Barbie

I go to the dollar store too and see what junk they have.
Also I get interesting snacks that take awhile to eat, string cheese, candy rings, yogurt sticks, different stuff
As for staying busy in line, we sing songs play eye spy. Usually they aren't too bad waiting!
