View Full Version : Saskatoon Muffins temp???

I copied down the recipe for Super Sasktoon muffins from this forum - I think! I finally got the ingredients & made them for dinner. They are really good - except that the bottoms burned.

Did I copy down the temperature wrong, or is my oven off? I have "bake at 425 for 20 minutes." I used Baker's Secret muffin pans with papers, set the oven to 400 & checked them at 17 minutes. The bottoms were really dark & sort of tasted. (DH didn't notice the taste - just me!)

My oven is usually right on, so I thought maybe I copied the recipe wrong. Anyone know??
