Hey. Jenny here. Anyway...

Currently I'm in 9th grade. In my state you can start a half a day of college and half a day of hs in 10 th grade. Well I had all my classes fore college prepared when the superintendent called and said they just passed a law that you can attend college you just have to go all day in school too. Understand? Well since we had already set everything up and paid(non-refundable) tuition, my mom decided to homeschool me. Since she works full time for the government I have to do it myself. Not to brag but I make straight "A's" so my mom trusts me that I can do it. Since a nearby private school is going to sell us the books, give tests, and set a schedule that doesn't worry me. Does anybody have any suggestions about homeschooling or college? Has anybody done this before. I'm really gonna miss high school since I've never been in anything like this before. So any suggestions?

I am not really "Home schooled", I go to independent study (going to class an hour, once a week and doing homework on my own time). It's not as bad as it sounds. You can still set up times and places to meet with your friends when they get out of school, you can sleep in a little each day and go to movies when everyone else is in school. Going shopping from 9am-noon while the crowds are low it's quite relaxing. I understand it may get a little boring and not social at times but you move at your own pace to learn the material better.

Wow, that sounds awesome! I wish that I could do something like that, lol. As for homeschooling methods and such, I would suggest googling it. :thumbsup2

BTW, what state do you live in? Thats a really cool law =P
