Starting a new journal up here. I've got to get things rolling along here. Got to get back to journaling my WW points too. And gonna do my best with my long work hours to get in exercise if I gotta do it when I get home. Dh keeps saying he wants to do the workouts with me as his pants have gotten tight and he wants to lose a few and tone up.

I weighed in this morning and not happy. :( I had lost some but apparently its back. I'm at 289 :guilty: :furious: I dunno why I keep gaining. Still down from 295 I recorded back on Jan 4th.

Breakfast:
wheat chex cereal with soy milk. :teeth:
glass of OJ

Lunch:
4 oz corned beef, cabbage, potatoes and carrots(early dh is leaving for work)
1 cup soy milk

Dinner:
???

Hope you had a good rest of the weekend!

breakfast:
Slept late no real breakfast but did eat a few handfuls of popcorn at movie with my dd and a pickle(though dd helped with that) but I had some evil cherry coke :guilty: .

Lunch:
chicken wrap with a raspberry vinegerette YUMMY!!
A couple potate crisps from dd's meal
Half of dd's Sprite she didn't want

Dinner:
KFC chicken breast
mashed potatoes with small amount of gravy
green beans
4-5 popcorn chicken pieces
Mt. dew. :( I gotta break the soda habit. We ran out of water or I'd have had Crystal Light.

Id say food choices not bad but SODA SODA SODA lots o' sugar. :guilty:

Breakfast:
slept too late

snack:
Mini bag of easter egg candys like the whoopers. :guilty: Atleast it was small amount. :thumbsup2

Lunch:
Leftover chicken, mashed taters and greenbeans
glass of melon Gatoraide

snack:
glass of Silk Enhanced soy milk

Dinner:
likely spaghetti making it with sausage since dh requested it.

Ended up having frozen pizza. Sumpreme on whole wheat thin crust and later my dd cooked a spicy chicken sumpreme and I had to try it. It was soooo yummy and the crust came out perfect and soft and chewy. I was shocked as sometimes even the best frozen pizzas come out cardboardy.
DD and I had green beans with ours on top of the veggies on the pizza.
I did have a Sprite with dinner.

And later another Sprite. We soooooo need to get water maybe I can talk dh into doing it in the morning before he goes to work as well as pick up some soy milk for dd and me.

Welcome! I am also new to WISH. The journaling has helped me tremendously! It really makes me aware of what I am eating and when I get off track. (I'm a pre-dinner snacker!) I don't drink soda, but I do drink milk constantly. It has been helpful for me to always have a glass of water with me. I drink water without thinking now. I get my water in this way and it keeps me from grabbing a glass of milk all the time. Good Luck and again, welcome to WISH. :cheer2:

Well more soda again today. :guilty:

DH went shopping Sunday night on his way home. Bought 3 cases of soda. One for ZOE!! :confused3 I don't even like to give her JUICE full strength. AHHHH I do allow her some occasionally when we go out because typical restraunts only offer cows milk and she needs soy and most have apple juice but that give her the runs too. :confused3

Anyway for Breakfast:
glass of OJ drank
a cup of red grapes
12 oz can of Sprite

Snack:
mini bagel with peanutbutter

Lunch:
Leftover frozen pizza
Green beans
Sprite

Had a Mt. Dew when I got home I was tired thought the caffine and sugar would wake me up I gotta make it another few hours. :teeth:

Snack again no real dinner(dd ate at school so I'm not worried about eating):
Nutragrain bar
cucumbers w/ FF ranch dressing
Sprite

Not the best day but I guess cutting out dinner will help. :rolleyes2

You ate really well today if you don't count the soda. Have you tried maybe soda water and OJ mixed together? That way you get the bubbles. Then you can gradually reduce the amount of juice vs. soda water. For me, I drink milk all the time. Now I just have a glass of water with me at all times. It has really cut down on my milk consumption. Hang in there. Just take baby steps and take each day one at a time!

I don't mind Crystal Light we are just out of water(only drink bottled AZ water is horrible) so I couldn't have that. I don't like to have all the aspartame but I know that it gets me more water and eventually I drink plain water and "crave" it as funny as that sounds.

:guilty: AHHHHHH Just out of curiousity I plugged all todays in fitday.com and its over 2400 calories. WHOA!!!!

BUT I got water tonight so I can make up some Crystal Light and limit the soda for good and perhaps cut it out. I gotta get dh to quit buying it. We will eventually its just too costly to us we'd rather use that money for other things.

Fitday was a big eye opener for me too! I thought I was doing pretty well, but stuff really adds up fast. I have found that I am definitely making better food choices and limiting my milk since I started entering everything into Fitday.

Sorry you were not feeling well, but Congrats on the 1 lb down. That is great!!! :cheer2:

Have been really stressed out with work. Didn't get much sleep last night so I ended up calling in to work and slept a few more hours until dd got up. Not much I could do about it then.

joked with dh tonight that we should put in Tae Bo but I guess he twisted his ankle. :rolleyes2 I know he wants to fit in his pants again too. His jeans are all getting tighter and tighter.

I missed breakfast. No surprise lately.

Lunch:
made mac N cheese(boxed kind and added a couple sprinkles of cheese)
half a can of peas added.

Tuna salad sandwhich.

Dinner:
Didn't feel like cooking and dh said go to Taco Bell so I did
I had Nacho bell grand though I share with dh and dd but still eat A LOT
Had hard taco supreme
Large fruit punch I shared some with dd but not enough. :guilty:

Snack:
Ate the other portion of dd's taco she didn't eat.

BUT on a good note I turned down ice cream tonight. I figure one splurge or off ideal meal was enough for today not to mention the 2 Mt. Dews I had this morning because I had been lazy and didn't mix up some Crystal Light because I had to clean out the jug(*hates dishes witha passion and could not survive without a dishwasher* :lmao: ) BUt I did make some Crystal Light between the two cans it just wasn't cold yet. Tomorrow I will have to remember to fill my water bottle and bring it to work so I can stay hydrated and drink something other than bringing sodas which i don't have to bring anwyway :cheer2:

Oh the best thing was I weighed in this morning at 279. :teeth: Down another couple lbs. Probably water weight and I'm afraid it will shoot back up but if I keep watching and changing habits I can get back on track and keep it going. I've been half way doing a Biggest Loser challenge with some girls on a parenting/birth month, year board I've posted on since we were all preggo with our July/August babies and I just noticed that from the start of that back on Jan 4th. I'm down a nice 13.8 lbs without much work and not sticking to plans. :thumbsup2 I guess that is around 2 lbs a week in some sick way. Even though its been up and down all the time. :sad2:

I really gotta start posting in the WISH daily exercise threads again. It kept me going for months despite never making my exercise goals each and every month. My thought was the 200-300 or more minutes I did was better than the ZERO I'd do normally. :guilty: :sad2:

Hi Melissa,

Congrats on the WI loss!! :cheer2: :thumbsup2 :cheer2: Every pound counts and you have a really great attitude to keep at it!

Good idea to bring the water jug to work. I know it really helps me if I just have my big water glass at my desk, I'll drink it. Everything I keep reading really stresses the importance of jumpstarting your day with breakfast. I'm not always good at it, but I'm working on it. Have you tried any protein bars. Currently I like NatureValley's HoneyNut or Sweet & Salty Almond. I'll grab one (or two!) of those if I don't have time for a real meal and they keep me going. I bought a Luna bar at Target this week to try, but now I can't find it. Guessing that one of my DD's may have made off with it! Yogurt or individual cottage cheese are other quick options you could have at your desk. Whatever I choose, I try and get some protein in. Otherwise, I'm starving a few hours later.

Don't stress the slip ups, just start over and get back on track like you are doing! Keep up your good work! :cheer2:

had a rough weekend. Was sooo busy an dhardly got any time for online. We went swimming on Saturday and then Sunday I was on for a short while but couldn't do much. I was waiting on laundry so i could go by my moms and my brother ended up taking us all to dinner at Olive Garden. So I'm sure I went over with that but I think I did pretty good before then.

Today I think is going great.

Breakfast:
Nutrigrain waffles(2)
OJ

Lunch:
Avocado and tomato sandwich-2 sliced multigrain bread, 1/2 avocado and whole roma tomato with 2 bread and butter pickle stackers. Oh with about 3 tbs of FF ranch dressing.
8 oz of soy milk
can of Mt Dew :guilty:

Snack:
1/4 cup raw sunflower seeds
Mt. Dew :guilty:

Dinner:
Tuna salad sandwich on multigrain bread
fresh cucumbers and cauliflower 3 spears of green onion
2 tbs FF ranch dressing
Pepsi :guilty: but atleast I'm still in my calorie range.

Total calories according to sparkpeople(switched from fitday):1881 the range they set for me is 1540 - 1890 so I'm in range :Pinkbounc  :cheer2:
A tad over ideal carbs(7 grams over) but not bad atleast they were "better" carbs meaning multigrain.

OH and for DH who thinks that a red meat free(or vegetarian) diet is low in protein I had 48 grams of protein. :) TAKE THAT!!!

I only got 2 fruits if you count OJ and avocado(considered a fruit). But I think I did great with veggies. :)

AND OOOHHHHH Man I'm having troubles finishing this dinner. LOL Who says veggies don't fill you up. :thumbsup2 :cool1:

Been tracking my food on sparkpeople.com. But fell off track mid week.

Next week I'll keep it up all week. :) I've made some goals for next week and if I can do them I KNOW I can work my way to being on a roll for loss.

I was up this week though. :( Atleast I know what I did wrong. Missed filing food in on sparkpeople. That journaling really helps me out so that I can watch things if I do have a slip up during the day.

My goals for this week are to go to bed early 9:30-10 so that I can get up and exercise before work. I also will be sure to drink 64 ounces of water and limit soda to one a day but will really try to go with NONE. I have a 2 liter at work so that if I feel crazy that I need the boost. I will have it but my plan is to not use it. Oh and my goal for exercise is to get atleast 15 minutes of WATP each day. I will work to going the whole 45 minutes(3 mile WATP dvd) through the next couple weeks. I KNOW I can do this.

With improvements in financial aspects around here we have been talking about trying for baby #2 next year. SOOOOO I really gotta get this weight moving so I can be healthy and ready for pregnancy this time. :) Hopefully will avoid the health issues of increased BP. :thumbsup2 Dh got a promotion and is working on steps to move up again in 3-4 months and when that time comes there will be a month before we "move"(we will have to live on site, hotel industry) and will start saving. I'm thinking in about a year I will be close to my ideal weight and ready to try for another baby. ;) :cool1:

Its been a few months.

I separated from my husband and trying to find my way in this big ol' world alone right now. Trying to get things all in order for me and my daughter. thankfully I haven't gained weight back. I've had a rough time and alot of stress and am down to 267.4 which is down another lb or so from back in June. Sure I could have lost alot in these few months but atleast I didn't gain. Thats the important thing.

Well, A lot has happened in these 2 months. DH and I are now back together and doing great. :teeth: Has been rough but while living at my moms a I gained about 10 lbs back. :guilty:

I just purchased a new balance ball(I love these things for stretching and working out too) since my old one got left in a move BACK to AZ from FL.

I'm working on getting eating back on track and no soda(the reason I think I gained while at my moms since she keeps soda stocked up and its hard to resist if its there) and start exercising. I wanna do 30-45 minutes in mornings and do 10 minute workouts in evenings with DH who has lost about 30 lbs in last 4 months with that and watching food.

My 25 lbs lost has helped my bp quite a bit though. It has dropped some and I'm hoping another 20 I can come off the meds since I hate taking them.

I know I can loose. I did lose nearly 40 lbs in 20 weeks doing WW before I met DH.

Today's POOR eating...lol Well the stuff I journaled on sparkpeople.com there was other stuff I'm remember now. :guilty:

Breakfast:
naughty ol' poptarts, WHICH I don't even like
small orange
some fruity kiwi strawberry drink(gotta start bringing water and avoid that stuff)

Snack:
banana and more fruity drink.

Lunch:(lazy lunch I didn't want to waste anything and was fixing for me only)
2hot dogs(another one I don't like at all but didn't want to fix anything)
2 sweet pickles
barbaque chips
Mozzerella cheese

Orange soda between these two..

Dinner:
Chicken fettuccine alfredo for my birthday. :) YUMMM
w/ brocolli :)
3 sips of Pepsi then gave the rest to DH since I was full.

1 glass soy milk

Snack:
Grapes
1 1/2 glasses of skim milk.(after workout no bottled/filtered water)

Lunch:

Dinner:
I will be at work and don't know what I'll fix yet.

I don't buy it. I work in a children's shelter its a house essentially and I don't do the shopping. So it will take some willpower to avoid those things on work days. I typically work 7am to 3pm. I may start eating breakfast at home though and eating fruit with breakfast is favorite of mine.

ARGH!!! I'm slacking on exercise again. :guilty: :sad2:

Today I had a busy day. I had 2 hot dogs at 10 or so an hour after I woke up.

WE had a late lunch and I had half a spinach, artichoke and chicken calazone. It was yummy but I stuck to half and a large salad. I was soooo full though. I also had 2 lemonades though. I haven't ate dinner really and I'm not too hungry but I did have a few chocolates that came in mail from an gift exchange I had on a board of other July 2003 mommies. I'm sharing with Zoe in hopes that it will go quicker and less to me. :rolleyes1

So far no exercise I plan to wake up and do some. I'll be going to my moms tomorrow to set her tree up finally. They(mom and my grandma) aren't much in the spirit though but I hope having the tree up will help some. They are a little down since they can't afford to get us gifts we told them not to worry but of course they will. :sad2:

I was soooo sad this afternoon when I took Zoe to school she had friends saying hello and couple saying "come sit by me Zoe" I'm sooo proud and happy that she has lots of friends at her preschool but worried that I'll be the huge "fat" mom and she will get made fun of later on. :( I gotta do something about his I don't want to cause her any grief over my overweightness. :guilty:

Wow I can't believe its sooooo close to Christmas. I've been soooo vusy running around to family and friends homes. Its been a busy holiday season so far. I feel like I'm constantly going and have no time to slow down anymore.

As much as I wanted to do this full blown before Christmas its not looking like it will happen. I'm trying though and I will get back to a normal routine after the holidays but for now I'm hardly ever home. I don't even get much time to relax on computer lately.

Yesterday was a crazy day and not the best eating day as I was at my moms helping her put up her decorations and tree since she can't do it and hadn't done it yet. We will be having Christmas possibly on the 21st there but might change to 26th. She ordered Pizza Hut and I had several pieces and a cheese bread stick. I had Burger King for breakfast and no lunch.

I worked all night last night filling in for someone. And took a nap this morning and just ate something quick yet again. I will be swearing off fast food and we will only go out to dinner at a nicer place once a month.

Doing good, doing good. Just haven't updated in journal here.

We've been working out since Tuesday after Christmas and I'm excited and pleased to say I've lost 6 lbs already. :thumbsup2 :goodvibes

Ate in range and good the past few days but I did have 2 cinnamon rolls and a iced Santa shaped sugar cookie. Still managed to stay in range with help of Michelina's Lean Gourmet meal. :)

I went slightly over tonight but I did so to have energy to burn on a long workout. So I had a peanutbutter sandwich.

Today is going well. I've worked my butt off around the house. I'm sooo exhausted and I still gotta do a workout. We are gonna do 55 minutes as soon as we put dd to bed in a few minutes when her bed linens are dry.

I had very low calories today because I've been so busy working on the house. I've had a couple Michelina Lean Gourmets. One for lunch and one for dinner. With dinner I added cooked frozen green beans and my dd had a little MINI pizza she had half and dh and I split the other half because there is no way she was eating it all and we had such low calories that it STILL didn't put a dent in our calories. Wish could say that more often. ;)

Weighed in yesterday morning at 274.4 Last week was 276 up from 272.8 the week before but I did expect that as I slacked on exercise quite a bit and the 272.8 week was a huge drop too.

I'm just happy to be going down. ;) :thumbsup2 :cool1:

I'm contemplating a few life decisions right now. I'm looking into and researching the Navy and Air Force. In high school I looked into Air Force and even spoke with a recruiter. Even then they said I'd have to lose weight which I figured. For Navy the max weight for a woman my height is 170 and I know I can reach that if and when I did decide to enlist. Sometimes I just want to do more you know. I'm sure I would miss Zoe though I'd be doing it mostly for me she and dh would get some benefits as well as giving up some things. I've never been real happy in any of my jobs. Most have been very boring to me like I wasn't even challenging myself. If I could put up with the months away for 4 years maybe it will slow down and we could lead the same simiple like we do now. :) Just alot I've been considering lately.

Today

breakfast: 3 pancakes with lite syrup

cherry sugar free drink

lunch:peanut butter and grape jelly on multigrain bread

Dinner:2 small(i mean tiny) pork chops mixed stir fry veggies and cup of rice a roni chicken flavor.

Eating wasn't great today but could have been alot worse. No time to type it all out right now.

But I did just do 45 min WATP 5 min stretch and 10 min ab workout for a total of 60 minutes of exercise today. :cheer2: :thumbsup2 :cool1:

Melissa -- It is so wonderful to see you here and doing so well. I see you are still posting very late at night though. How in the world do you keep up with Zoe after being up so late? Congratulations on being so disciplined in getting the exercise done!
Keep up the great work and have a fabulous weekend! :goodvibes:

Heya I gotta remember to keep up with my WISH journal. hehe :goodvibes I WISH back in my home pages. So it will be first thing I see when I pop online so I can be motivated to get my workout done.

Eating was bad but workable.

Breakfast: generic fruit loops with silk soy milk

Lunch: nothing kinda skipped but I had slept in till 10:30 since I had the day off.

Dinner: Taco Bell I had a Nachos BellGrande and a hard taco supreme with large Pink Lemonade and a carmel apple empanada.

I went over calories, finally started journaling that again on sparkpeople, but not buy a lot. I'm shocked it wasn't alot more being Taco Bell and all.

I did 45 minutes of WATP and 5 minutes of stretching and then 10 minutes ab workout with Denise Austin. :cool1: :cheer2:

Heres to a better tomorrow.

Oh and I passed on the popcorn:: I had made for dd. I'm not a big lover of popcorn so it wasn't that hard. THere is about half a bag left she will probably munch tomorrow for morning snack. :lmao: She doesn't care if its cold and stale.

hehe just now replying to this but I dunno how I do it. Though now that I'm doing it I have dejavu that I did but it didn't clear because I clearly remember Zoe getting out of bed crying and upset after being asleep for the night only a few hours. On weekdays I gotta be up by 5:30am. I really gotta work on getting workout scheduled for better time than 8-9pm sometimes later like tonight. But I wait for her to go to bed most nights. When I try to exercise with her she of course is only 3 and can't go on long and stops but then she hovers at my feet and its hard. :rotfl: Now that we have a tv upstairs in our room we can put her in there while we do workouts sooner than late pm.

Eating not bad today but man yesterday I did a no no and bought some Dove chocolate eggs. :( I've been in them. Could be PMS. LOL I know I'm about a week from starting good ol' aunt flow as I'm 9 days past ovulation and usually start 14-16 days past that. Blah!!! I like it because I seem to be having semi regular cycles lately around 35 days in length better than 90+ ones I get some cycles(I'd say months but I don't exactly have monthly cycles).

Today was a busy day and I was exhausted so we went out to chinese buffet it was not a good thing for eating plan. And then I have had a upset tummy since probably because I ate too much. :rolleyes1 And my bowels aren't "happy" either so I didn't want to get into the walking and kickin' and have that act up. Plus I just don't have the energy for it. I think my iron is low I've been spotting and will start my time of month very soon. :sad1:

I'll get in a nice long 60 minutes of exercise tomorrow. And really try on the eating. :goodvibes :thumbsup2

Weight was creeping up and not good. :sad1:

Gonna set up a plan with dh because I know he wants to really get some weight off too but we gotta do some actual scheduling because of our opposite work schedules. He is planning to job hunt because the 11pm-7am is getting to him finally after a year. I just pray he finds something close and decent pay.

Had a very rough April. Starting with the lose of my husband(no he is alive and fine) but he has run off to TN to be with some woman he had met online in his video game(World of Warcraft) I knew it was true and I moved out before he could up and leave. Its been alright on those lines but I lost my grandma on the 29th she passed away. :sad1:

I'm just moving on with the marriage problems and will be looking into lawyers as soon as I can get stable. I know he can't do anything for 6 months over there in TN he has to live ther 6 months to file so I have time to find and pay payments as needed.

Just incrediably stressed out last month and as much as I wanted I couldn't get to the exercise and food choices have been bad. I'm also living at my moms which limits my exercise times greatly since she is sleeping most of the time I'm home and I don't want to wake her seeing as she lives in a manufactured home and it would shake I feel. I do have a bike that I aquired recently I just need to air the tires and find time without dd is hard until I can afford a trailer to pull her behind.

So far today I had a Sprite and a banana. I gotta get something else in my tummy its telling me so anyway. I'm going shopping this afternoon for some yummy healthy foods to stock the kitchen up good.

I'm very much looking forward to a healthy weight loss this month. :) At my dr.s on Wed. the scale said 258 but that is a BIG LIE I fear the home scales put me at 277 to 279. I really think their scale is off because normally my home one was very close to theirs. Maybe the nurse had not read it right. I was looking and it looked like that to me too but

Anyway May is the month to take care of myself. I have signed up to do a 3 mile walk local here for Y-ME National Breast Cancer Organization. It should be fun. I just wonder if I can bring dd or if I need a sitter.

Couldn't make the walk. :(

I'm having a rough patch adjusting to new routines and I need to get the exercise back in. My weight is up partly from good ol' AF visit right now and partly due to soda and eating badly. Even though my Dr. scale had me at 258last wed. I know its more like 278. :guilty:

My brother and I are discussing a possible trip to WDW/Florida(also have family we visit when we go) and I so want to be a good 50-60 lbs lighter when we go. I know I can do it I just gotta work at it. So back to journaling on Sparkpeople and really need to actually do it and also here. I know if I keep a journal awhile I will really watch what I eat. Exercise will be a big thing too. I just have a really hard time taking my dd anywhere but I saw a family with their young child at the high school track and thinking maybe I'll try going and walking while she runs around in the grass(football field) while I walk and eventually jog/walk. It really helped in the past. Though hoping to find a way to pay for a gym membership so I can really get some weight coming off.

Eating was good today and I'm proud of myself for getting ONE cookie not my usual 3-4 at work. :cool1: :goodvibes :woohoo:

I had yogurt and a bagel with cream chesse for breakfast.

I wasn't that hungry so I didn't eat anything until around noon when I had a bowl of cinnamon Life because I'm having AF and it was quite heavy this morning and I KNEW my iron was low. I can not find my SloFe(iron supplement to replace the dr. recommend multi that was making me sick and since he told me to take it for iron I figure I'll take iron seperate) so I had to find stuff high iron to kinda help raise my energy level. I had horrible cramps too.

At 2pm I had a cup of Ramen noodles hey it does have some peas and carrots in it.

For dinner I made pork chops but only had a little of the pork(not a meat eater) about a cup of Stove Top stuffing though. :guilty: And I had mashed taters about a 1/2 cup and lots of broccoli and cauliflower with a few carrot slices. :)

Downfall came at home when I had 3 pieces of fudge my mom always finds at the bakery and a chocolate covered icecream bar. AF always brings out the chocolate cravings really bad. :sad2:

I strive to make tomorrow an even better eating day.

Been doing a little better with eating until today but I need to start journaling.

Today my mom and I were out looking at apartments so we went to Golden Corral for lunch 1:30 or so but it was so late we will probably just have a snack later because its 5:40pm now and I'm no where near hungry again.

I'll be working on cleaning house some but I think I'm gonna go to the pool in a short while will get a little exercise in that way. :thumbsup2 And maybe I can start walking at the high school track. The apartments we looked at all had fitness rooms but the one I liked best had one and I think we may end up there in the long run. I'll just come up with a pet deposit and get a cat and hope its a good scorpion catcher because they eat them and are not phased by them at all. ;)

Breakfast:
bowl of chocolate Lucky Charms
Sprite

shared a can of Coke with dd while out looking at apartments

Lunch: Golden Corral
I had too much. :guilty: :sad2:

Probably will not have a dinner.

:guilty: Some eye openers yesterday and today.

Lets start with the picture I took of myself in the mirror with my bathing suit on. YIKES!!!

Then tonight I journal all my food into the trackers on sparkpeople and my calories for the day was over 2900. :scared1: :sad2: :guilty: :sad1:

I want to lose weight. I know what to do but why do I drag my feet. :sad1: I guess this is a step in the right direction. Journal then I can work on lowering the calories. It really keeps your eyes open to how quickly the calories add up.

I want to be able to ride all the rides in Oct without being embarassed that I can't fit into the seats. I'd love to lose 50-60 lbs by then so I need to get started on this right away. :thumbsup2

First of all, MANY MANY HUGS, Melissa!

You're going thru so much, & none of it easy!!!

Hang in there. You have a goal, WDW!!!! You CAN do this!! Keep journalling, LOTS of water (you need it in AZ anyway!).

I'm leaving soon on vacation, but I'll be back, and I bet you've lost a good number in the next month!

Have a great week! Take care of you & that BEAUTIFUL little girl!

Well I haven't kept up this journal in a month but I've been doing pretty bad. I don't feel my eating is worse but I know my snacking got out of hand and I've worked on it. Even been getting in lots of swimming but nothing.

Just when I thought I was doing good started journaling my food on sparkpeople and everything I dunno what happens. I can't make it to computer often to input my food. Now that isn't gonna get any better because I'm starting classes Monday for medical assistant certification and I'll have those classes 4 nights a week on top of 40 hours of work.

I will have to find a way to get organized enough to fit in exercise atleast ONE of those 4 days and on Friday - Sunday when I won't have quite as hectic days.

My weight has crept up to 292 as of this morning.  :guilty: :sad2: :sad1: I dunno how its happening. I can only guess something isn't right. I've been passing up soda for water A LOT but doesn't appear to be enough so back to cutting it out completely which is very hard living here. I may just have to start getting used to the Diet Coke/Pepsi my mom drinks. Will be better than getting calories but I hate the taste maybe it will deter me from soda altogether but even now sitting her I'm thinking about the nice cold Sprite I have in the fridge. So far I have had ONE today and goal is to not have anymore today as those calories really add up FAST!! I'm on glass #1 of water atleast. :thumbsup2

I had a Everything bagel with chives and onion cream cheese for breakfast. For lunch I had left over spaghetti(without meat) and one leftover slice of Pizza Hut meat lovers pizza. I had a peach in between those two meals. For dinner I'm making pot roast with carrots, red potatoes and onions. I'll also fix up a salad. It won't be too bad especially since I rarely eat much meat so I usually only have a 3 maybe 4 ounces of meat tops.

I KNOW I can do this.

Working on getting on track and this time STAYING on track. I'm just about to head off to straighten my bedroom so I can bring the "extra" tv into there and hook up a dvd player just for me to do workouts with. It will be nice to have my space for working out.

I journaled my food so far today on sparkpeople. Its not the healthiest stuff but I am doing good for the day. I had a soda but it was diet because right now all we have is Diet Coke or Dr. Pepper and Dr. Pepper makes me "sick" to my tummy. I just can't drink it. I have to go get the water bottles filled so I have my fresh cold water for water cooler. :thumbsup2

I gotta make this work I'm tired of having nothing to wear and feeling bigger everyday. :( :guilty: :sad2: :scared:

I've been walking some days on break at school. Some days though we leave early and don't take the long break which is when I walk usually. I still need to add some dvd workouts to that because I NEED to get this weight coming off for good. I'd also like to get back off my bp meds that I had to start up again because my bp had raised up. I along with my dr. think its from the weight going back up. I'd just really love to get a bunch of weight off by March because I'll be doing externship at a Dr. office and I've heard rumors of all the FREE food that will be around. It will be hard to say no to it. :scared1:

I walked fore 30 minutes on my break at school. :cool1: :thumbsup2

I cleaned and straightened my room and moved a tv in there but I can't hook up the dvd player. UGH!! It doesn't have the video plug ins. I might be able to hook it through a cable with my moms old VHS player like I had before but there is no cable ran to the room so I dunno if it will work. SOOO I just gotta bare it and exercise in living room.

I did 60 minutes of swimming yesterday. :) Today I'll do another 60 minutes of swimming but also gonna fit in atleast 15 minutes of Walk Away the Pounds dvd maybe longer if I can keep going. :thumbsup2

I can't keep going on like this. I'm tired of the extra weight. Before even up to 250 I always felt healthy and still have a healthy body image for the most part, sure I didn't like be overweight and I wanted to lose but just felt "okay" with it all. Now I just can't stand it. I have nothing to wear and I refuse to buy more clothes because I don't wanna have to be in them long anyway since I WANT and NEED to lose the weight.

Maybe this will be my last straw(again) and I'll use this time to get on a smooth track to lead me down.

I guess I'm just down about the weight today. :guilty:

Feeling a tad depressed this evening. :( I just feel like my life is in shambles. Well maybe because it is. :sad1: I'm in process of divorce, I haven't gotten it started but how can I, I can't afford a lawyer nor the filing fees. Blah!!! I have no real job and no money to pay my car payment that was due 2 days ago. :sad1: :sad2:

I will be 28 in 2 months and I live with my mother. :sad2:

I know things happen for a reason but they sure aren't showing themself all to clear right now.

The one good thing is my education and that is what keeps me looking forward to the coming months.

I have church in the morning and then Zoe and I are meeting some friends at the pool to have a nice day. After I will take Zoe to the mall to play. Its just been FUN playing with her on the weekends. Really COOL!!!!

Next week its off to find a job. I HAVE to find something soon or I'm gonna go insane. LOL Not really but I need something more than the low paying home job I'm doing right now.

Oh well I'm off to bed to get some rest for tomorrow, which will be a new day and I can do it. :thumbsup2 :cool1:

I have to say yesterday(its after midnight) was sooooo much more positive for me. Despite the 3 Mountain Dews I had I feel good about how my Sunday went. I started with church where wow, I really felt like God was speaking right to me with some of the things.

The pastor talked about eating at 10, 2 and 4. Some story about how someone discovered that those are the times our metabolism drops and its good to eat a snack at these times to help "boost" our metabolism. Then he tied it into how it should be 9, 12 and 3 for "prayer" time. I think this sounds like some really great "advise" that I will be striving for(both).

I then spent the rest of the day and evening with Zoe and my family. Started with lunch as a family then I was off to meet some friends of ours at the "pool"(really more like a little waterpark, with slides, lazy river etc.) and we had a great afternoon there. Came home had dinner as a family. I have to say I've been working on spending a lot more time with Zoe. I take her more places than I have for some time and we enjoy watching tv together and cuddling. We are just trying to get a wide range of stuff we do together.

I have quite the "hope" for next week. I am going to do all I can to make it a good one in the weight loss area.
