ok im a freshman in college and i have many friends younger than me. one of my friends who happens to be in 10th grade likes me. now i like her too but just as a friend although i may like her a little more. and idk what to do. i would feel a little weird going out with a 10th grader since in a freshman in college. we hung out on wednesday and went to see scary movie 4, which was pretty good but thats besides the point. then later that night while my dad was on my computer i was sitting on my bed and i feel asleep and i had a dream and she was in it. heres that dream. the movie finished and as we were walking out i grabed her hand. we were walking in the street to my car and this crazy guy comes speeding down, and i push her out of the way and the car hits me. im in a coma for a few weeks. now idk what that means. iv told a a few friends and they say that what that dream means is that im willing to do anything for her. but 2 of my friends said it would be a little weird going out with her while my other friend said it doesn't matter. idk what to do. i need some help with this. thanks everyone

hmm hold old are you? I mean if she is mature and on the same level you are, then age is just a number in my opinion

i dont think there is anything wrong with a 10 year age different like i said age is just a number. if you like her i think you should go for it. i mean how much is the age different a couple years. I think its no big deal. its not like she 9 and your 29. so if you like her i think you should ask her out.

I agree. If you really like her age shouldn't matter.

I don't know if it is in your state, but here its illegal for a 18 yr old to go out with anyone under 18..Hopefully not there...

I believe it is illegal for anyone over 18 to do anything with someone under 18. As far as I know, it is perfectly legal for someone over 18 to date someone under 18.

Here 16 is the age of consent so its legal for 16 year olds and 18 year olds to date.

How could that be illegal? So if an eighteen year old wanted to take his thirteen year old sister out to dinner, it would be illegal? There's no way of teeling whether it's a date or two siblings/family.
My aunt and uncle have a twenty year gap between them, yet they got married. Age is not really a factor if you really like this girl. Maybe the girl really does like you, but this case is different. Maybe she has only experianced things she's familiar with (crushes, etc.), and it doesn't happen with love?
Has she ever told you how she feels about you, or is it some rumor that a friend told you?

well first off, if her parents aren't ok with it then they can press charges and that would suck. second, my friend told me that she liked me and then when i told this girl i was like,
"eylssa tells me somone likes me."
"o really?"
"yeah and i think i know who it is but im not sure" i say
few minutes later
"i knew it"
"o really?"
so she kind of told me that she liked me. and my friend eylssa said that this girl jess does casue she told eylssa

I'VE GOT IT! You run away to Canada and buy a HUGE house and marry her in Canada and have 37 kids and then, if her parents have any heart at all, they'll let you stay together. Happy. In Canada!

Or you could just wait until she graduates/ turns an adult (at 19), and then her parents have no control over her.

Alright, I've had this problem but he was older but not in college but when you think about it it's the same... Anyways, just tell her how you feel. At least you talk to her... if you don't than it will ALL be gone.... I found that out on thursday that people move on if nothing happens...
