I know that it is $25/day if I want maid service in a studio, but what about a 1,2, and Grand Villa? Can someone answer this for me?
Thanks
Steph :wave2:

Copied from a post by CarolMN, who knows just about everything DVC:

"For a studio, the charge is $25 per day requested
For a 1 bdrm , the charge is $30 per day requested
For a 2 bdrm, the charge is $40 per day requested
For a 3 bdrm (Grand Villa), the charge is $60 per day requested"

You can also get a trash & towel service for $10 per day requested, regardless of room size. Considering a package of 4 sets of towels is $6, this is a great deal in the 2 & 3 bedrooms.

Do you request trash and towel or maid service before you arrive, or can you request it while you are actually staying at the DVC?

The free trash/towel and/or full cleanings are all pre-scheduled but you can request different days when you arrive. Extra (for a fee) service can also be scheduled when you arrive.

Question.....
Where do you take your trash if you opt not to add additional T&T service? I'm sure you can wash the towels yourself so I wouldn't worry about that. Disney is so sneaky about hiding their trash. I do not remember seeing dumpsters or anywhere to dump trash. We will have 4 adults and 4 kids in a 2 BR. Would it be worth it to request T&T service for each of our 6 days?

In the hotel-like DVC resorts, there are trash rooms on each floor where you can take your trash. They usually provide a green trash can for recyclables and a differently colored trash can for the non-recyclables. In the trash room, they will have larger containers for the trash with the appropriate designations on them.

At OKW, there is a trash room for each building.

Not sure about SSR since I havent' taken the trash out there yet.

We never mess with any additional cleaning. It's nice not having anyone come into the room while we are lazing around.

Kristen, there IS a place to take your trash at each DVC resort. You'll get a map at checkin and you can locate the nearest one then!
