I've never gone on a Disney Cruise before or any cruise for that matter and I was wondering if there was any form of gambling on the Disney Cruises. We were thinking of taking my mother on one for her 80th birthday next year and she likes to play the slot machines and bingo.

Hi KyleRayner

The Disney Cruise Line ships do have Bingo onboard. They usually have several sessions throughout the cruise leading up to the final jackpot bingo session.

There are no casinos onboard teh Disney Cruise Line ships, and no other form of gambling is available. However, some of the ports-of-call do have local casinos if your Mom is itchin' to play the slots. My only advise would be to use caution in these local casinos and be aware of your surroundings.

Other cruise lines (Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, Carnival, etc) do have onboard casinos that offer slot machines and table games. If having the casino onboard is something that is important to you and your mother you may want to consider one of those lines for her first cruise.

I hope you have a terrific cruise!!!

John

Well, there the gambling of getting a lounge chair by the pools, gambling of how far back in line you will be standing to wait to see the characters, gambling to see how much your stateroom tabs going to be....does that count? (((((((I know, I know. My MIL liked going to DCL bingo.))))))))))

Hi,

My father-n-law loves to play the roulette wheel, but he loves crusing DCL. Your mother will too, their are so many reason why DCL is the best and you can always do what my father-n-law does and get off at the ports and take a taxi to a resort casino to spend your money. In Nassau he's favorite place is the Atlantis Resort and Casino. :)
