Just back from a trip to WDW ... when we arrived @ MCO, SWA did match our luggage to our claim tickets... and some of the agents in the area had dogs. Anyone else see them? I wish they would patrol lobby, concourse.... heck, everywhere! When we arrived home, SWA match our luggage and claim tickets but no dogs.

I welcome the beagles (primarily used by USDA) and labs, but I am terrified of shepards. I will cross a street and climb a lightpole if I encounter one, even on a leash. Hope I don't see one of these...my behavior will definitely seem suspcious! LOL!

PS--To all you shepard lovers, it's because I was chased and my brother bitten by a neighbors shepard when we were kids...the paper boy was also bitten, and the mailman, and another kid from the neighborhood, all before the dog was destroyed. None of these people were in the dogs yard at the time...it would break it's lead and give chase to someone a block away.

I watched a tv program a year ago about a beagle at the MCO aiport while he was working. It was very interesting. Some of the dogs that they use come from shelters in the area. I would love to see more of this.
As for being tormented by a shephard while you were growing up.........I think all of us have a breed of dog or another type of animal that makes us nervous. Thanks for giving us an explination, though. ;) As for being afraid of working dogs while they are on the job, take a deep breath. They know they are working and have had hundreds of hours in training. I know that doesn't help much, but it is true.
